Normally the Showroom event can't end before the time assigned. But today I maxed the Dezir and for a while all stages appeared locked, but when I went in second stage to finish the last race for epics, the stages appear unlocked. Did you try to enter in some stages not completed?

If the car isn't at max stars, you can repeat the event. But, the prize of final stage already claimed didn't appear again. Only the prizes not claimed remain active.

I start the race manually driving using the pro controller and within a few seconds it switches to touch drive. I pause the race go to controls and change it back to manual and it switches to touch again a second or 2 later. Then I hit touch drive off and it takes 2 to 3 times more before it finally takes. But by the time it’s fixed the race is over or I’m dead last with no chance of winning.

If I use TD(which I hate) my car maintains top speed while making slight steering movements on a windy road.

When using manual, at 20% sensitivity, my car will slow down by 30-50% from
Top speed to just change lanes on the road, or pick up nitro for instance.

1. the screen jerks on switch when you turn even just the slightest bit (no jerking anywhere on global)
2. it is near impossible to turn more than 150 meters on a single turn (making the 20 degree turn on Cairo literally impossible to complete) This is the case for both auto accel and manual accel
3. The Steering SENSITIVITY AFFECTS DRIFT RADUIS... if you have your game at 0% sensitivity, you will find that cars barely turn when they have good handling, and then if they do not have good handling, they will literally GO IN A STRAIGHT LINE when you drift either direction
4. Due to the hard turning on switch, You lose tons of speed when you do slight turns at 100% sensitivity (I have to have it has 100% sensitivity so the cars can turn ) vs global, you can turn and sure you lose speed, but not as much on switch.

I have video evidence to prove the first 3 points (maybe not the last one, this could be me just seeing things)

again, watch the videos, what I am talking about is NOT THE DRIFT SPEED... it is the drift RADIUS and drifting LENGTH. Your drifting radius is way better on global at 0% sens vs switch, and you can drift as many meters ad you want on global vs a max drift of 150-160 (170 if you are lucky)

The issue is you're holding down the "B" key to continuously drfit, atleast from what I'm seeing. On global this has never been how you drift therefore stop holding it down, to cancel your drift, tap it again. Holding it down makes the game think you're trying to stop it which is how it's been for years on global. It's simply a matter of getting used to it

Right, We don't have the Noble M6000. So let's see. We're still way behind in the number or cars that Global players have. Everything we learned, practiced and mastered about driving, including gasless drifting, straight drifting, wall riding, etc is gone and lost. We seem to be the only ones that have a huge loss of speed when we steer (not sure if is a bug or a feature yet). Just this alone means we stand no chance vs Global players in GPs and other MP events. GPs will be the worst bc the very limited number of places with keys but we will also be penalized on car hunt riots and other events that reward only the top layers (like top 5% and so) or require cars that we don't have (like the Noble M600). On top of that, nobody seems concerned that our refueling times went up from 2 minutes to 15 minutes for D class cars and from 1 hour to 6 hours for S class cars. And even though people complained before about A9 being P2W, that is nothing to what ALU is: We went from having 2 passes (LP and bundle) to 5 passes (LP, daily, MP, bundle, overclock and Unite Fund) and from 8 stores (clash, bundles, legend, etc) to 13 stores, one of which I counted 79 different packs available). Do I need to say more?

I first played A9 on switch and now I am on Android player. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but literally nothing (bar missing cars) you have mentioned is a Switch specific issue. And thats not really any different to people that played since release having cars I don't because events were run that provided bps which haven't been run again in the time I have played (past 9 months)

Your point about speedloss - Not a switch issue and just plain wrong. Your game operates the same as everyone elses does now. Arguably the fact you have controller (the most precise input method) means you have an unfair advantage over most tilt/tap/TD players. Atleast 1 switch player is in top 100 for weekly competition already. So it is possible to do the same times as everyone else. You just need to learn to master the new engine and its quirks. If you play the game the same as you used to, yes you will do bad times and get beaten a lot. You were playing a game with bugged physics. Whether or not you liked it more or thought it was better is irrelevant, it is not how the game is supposed to be or was for anyone else on any other platform. If you wanted to be super competitive from day 1 you could have tried out the new engine on mobile with controller whilst you waited for it to launch on Switch. Everyone else that moved across like me at any point has had to adapt. It is frustrating at first but it takes a lot less time than you think to adjust and you will get there 🙂

Fuel times - not a switch issue, you must have been aware that these would have to change to match the same as everyone else. It has to be for a level playing field. You don't have ads to reduce them which is unfortunate (same on windows) and I'm not sure if Nintendo allow ingame ads so that may be out of GLs hands

Passes etc - not a switch issue, same story with everyone on every platform. If you don't like it, don't spend. I'm f2p and still top bracket in every event I want to and in a top 100 club

The only real legit complaints Switch users have (aside from no cross save - which was known, general bugs or performance issues) atm is being forced to use horizon tilt (I actually use this by choice as do many of the best players in the game such as myeon) and dpad turning TD on/off in global version so now having to use analogue sticks (which I think you may be able to get around if the game allows you to change button mapping).
Anything else is essentially just complaining that the game is now the same as it is on every other platform.

You don't hold the brake in global version. You tap once to start a drift and again to stop a drift. If you drift whilst going fairly straight it will stop by itself. To maintain a straight drift you have to wiggle slightly left and right. Thats how drifting works in the global version 🙂

If you try to adjust on a straight road you can't even accelerate and actually lose a lot of speef just for slightly adjusting left or right? Nice racing game where any small movement results in halving your actual speed. The screen tilting is messy and does not contribute to a pleasant driving experience. TD and manual drivers have a fixated screen view so it should be a simple fix. General changes to controls are fine and we’re gradually adapting but when the screen tilts it’s very difficult to follow the cars’ movements. I understad it works for folks playing on their phones (or handheld mode?) but for console users it’s a huge stepback.

We have adapted you to the global system of the game as you will be competing with the rest of the playerbase now, and the old switch controls and physics offered a clear advantage. I know it's a big change and it will take some time to get used to, but it's the only way to offer an even playing field for all.

Now I can barely stay at top speed. I’m used to no acceleration drifting and being able to hold drift. I haven’t tried out any cars that use floaty or punch drift mechanics, I can do them but I’m not used to doing them every turn. I only did them on my cars for fun lol. I don’t know how to alien now.

Exactly! I’ve been playing for 2-3, heck maybe even 4 years now! Even before, I didn’t have a lot of cars. I tried my best, I did win the Revemton Roadster Grand Prix, I have some other cars too! I was focusing on the Trion Nemisis unlocking, but someone formatted my switch, and I couldn’t reinstall it due to a bug. I had to uninstall the game and therefore lost all my progress. Ever since I reset, I got the SF90 Stradale! It was great. But since then, my journey has been a bit rockey. And to add on, the controls have changed! This makes my A9 Journey even harder, making me less competitive in events. All I ask for are the old Switch controls.

4. The game actually runs more smoothly in terms of FPS than before. There’s literally a comparison video online showing that ALU runs at more FPS.

Guys, global has always been like this, on switch we had a huge advantage.

Driving was much much easier, this is not broken, it’s actually normal for this game now.

hello, the worst thing is that I've been playing for 2 years on Switch with the directional cross, and now I change the view or activate/deactivate the TD every 2 seconds. the game is unplayable in these conditions (with the up and down assignment of the directional cross). why so much effort to make this game that was fun, worse and worse? is it impossible to be able to assign your own keys?

If I could send links, I could link the video. He went in depth, and shown it. Every time he re paired, sensitivity would change. Everytime he went into a race, would do the same. Every menu change, he went into settings and boom, it's a different value. So even if you adjust it, it's always changing

I know not many people play tilt to steer, but there's a huge issue with it. The screen tilts when the Switch is docked. It's okay for the screen to tilt when playing handheld, but when docked the screen should stay fixed. It's not a camera issue, I've always played Action and in A9 this worked well.

• Dpad control is totally unusable with up switching to td/manual and down changing the camera view

I'm using a controller in manual drive. It doesn't make sense to change it just because in Tilt drive or mobile it is different. The interaction in those is completely different.
Holding Break to drift, until released, made sense. There was no reason to change it.

When GL found out they launched Bos without setting requirements for keys days before , they fixed it in ten minutes. While, when it came to delay compensation and token packs for DS coins, they said ‘ we have issues ’ without any ETA.

Fixing in game issues is different than doing a patch update. A patch update has problems that are spread everywhere. Not just one part of the game. Get used to it. Patches take longer.

It’s like trying to take care of one dog vs many tinier pups. One dog is easy to take care of because it’s one thing. Taking care of pups is harder because there are so many. Equate that to the two issues you were referring to. They could fix the keys because they were only in events. Not everywhere else. Bugs are much harder though, because not only are they everywhere but sometimes they can be invisible. Patches take longer as a result. It’s unfortunate but it’s real.
