  Could you report them to the team, most of them are more then 2 years old. We should have at least a rough ETA when they are getting fixed.

Well, I keep pointing out that if we as the community are fine with that, it will not be fixed. So if more and more people will complain about it, the more likely it will be fixed. These issues are severe enough to be as pissed as the community was when the pulled the issue with the Countach key in the LP. They understood they will lose a lot of people if they did nothing. If, as a community make that clear to GL, it WILL get fixed. But instead people like you are correcting people for reporting these issues, the other way around. Let me ask you: do you like this game to be completely broken? If so: keep doing what you are doing 👍

The BOS Times of the third race are fishy. While the times for the lower reward are different by 1 second, the times for the upper reward are equal for 1 MW and Owl. The 1MW time must probably adjusted up by 1 second to 00:32.500.

Bros, do you also have this issue, the game will randomly stuck at mp searching, and even freeze the switch.

Yeah, the mp game is still in low fps, it’s playable, but hard to control the high speed car like venom and ssc, as there’s some noticeable delay between control and graphic. Sometimes the car will wreck when drifting or landing on ground, without hitting anything. And sometimes you can only watch it crash on the wall, but the controls without any response.

I don’t know why, but the game’s physics also feels abnormal in mp game. It could be the laggy issue or there’s really some connection between network speed and physics, as the control sometimes feels too sensitive, and sometimes without any response. The car drive more like a boat, but in single player, everything smooths like a butter, you get the full control again. Which it’s really wired, and ruining the game play experience .

P.S if you guys can’t fix the mp issue, why not add some PVE missions instead, I’d like to wreck some cops or do some challenges to get all milestones without ranking on the mp ladder. It’s a time waste to search players, stuck, reboot the switch, just find out that you’re in glitch, lose 20 points, and keep doing such things like a loop.

There’s definitely a lag between control input and response in MP1 and exactly that: cars with amazing handling (eg SC18) feel like a boat. Maybe related to the slipstream ghost thing, I don’t remember it being so bad in normal MP1

I guess when the game is initially released on the mobile long times ago, the device at that time is not as powerful as the switch, so the switch port could run smoothly at first and second year. However, as GL adds more and more content, the later game requires more and more powerful device to run. From 2018 to 2023, it has been 5 years, and even iPhone has been updated from x to 15. You can't even run this game smoothly on an old iPhone x today. How can we expect it could run smoothly on a low performance switch, as the switch has been released for almost 4 years, and even without any performance update.

And the current situation is that, the switch team doesn't have enough resources to utilize, test or recode the game, as the difference of work amounts between simply porting a game and keeping maintaining it is huge. (And depending on the past experience, GL's mother company won't give the team more) The best way I could figure out is replacing or giving alternative options, like PVE, as single player game requires much less resources than mp game. Another solution is removing almost any decoration that needs to render, and also removing more unnecessary content in the future updates, which will make the game looks more shabby and ugly than global (just like the nitro 2), and still need some resources to do, which means unlikely to happen.

Be honest, I do feel a little unworthy to speed thousands bucks for cars like venom, there’s no that much daily single events to drive them, and in mp, most time you can only drive it like 400 kph due to laggy issues. Losing to a Chiron or pagani bc is really usual. Sometimes when you meet the glitch, you don’t even have a chance, even the components may use some lower end class a or even class b car.

Yep, I guess the switch team willing to do something, but the office board pays little attention. As even the global server may only have a minimum team to maintain, most new cars released recently reuse the asphalt 8 models. So we might have to accept the laggy, stuck, glitch issues. But I suggest to give mp an PVE option, you could still compete in mp, but can also harvest all milestone by bunch of single player missions, without ranking on the mp leader board.

With every update there is some small optimization done, but there is a plan regarding a bigger take on that...but that might take a bit more.

Then buying 6 packs is unpredictable so good if 6bp or better / bad if 3 bps but at the end if you buy regularly since years, then your overall droprate would match statistics

Yes, I hate the new layout. It’s so difficult to preview conditions, going to the race button, applying class imports, and changing carbon parts to original is still a pain to get to. It would of been nice to see the mouse cursor like in PC and treat it like how Gran Turismo treats it. - joy con stick and D-pad controls both and the + joy con stick controls the mouse to get the difficult parts of the menu. I really would like this to maybe aid this for both TV mode and handheld modes.

This not a system issue, but the horrible top speed gap between class a and class s. From class d to class a, each class has a top speed gap like 20, but class a between class s is almost 100. That’s why this kind of unfair matches happen.

Wild Cards section in Inventory cannot be accessed if using controllers. Selecting it with ZL and ZR buttons doesn’t work, it skips the Wild Cards ’folder’. Same thing when trying with the joysticks, D-pad and L & R buttons. Currently it’s only possible to access it the old fashioned way - detaching the unit from the console and using the index finger. Looks like the new folder has not been synchronized with the software.

GL can set how long those packs are available, and they set them to be available beyond the end of the 4th Anniversary season, That should not revert back, specially if they were unlock. That should be honoured!

And the W12 had a pack that was available earlier (and expired earlier too), and another one showed up behind the lock of 200 conditions (that expired next Friday). Theoretically that was a good reward for those that did enough conditions to unlock packs that had an extended expiry date. That reward was frustrated by not keep the packs available until the expiry date.

Before the last season "anniversary" ended (and the previous event F5 disappeared) and the new season "around the world" started last Friday The packs countdown of Countach showed 7/8 days remaining... So this pack was supposed to last a week more before the end of last season (I m sure 1000 % cause I bought some packs and was confident to buy others during this week keeeping in my mind the countdown).. So it is false that the pack were supposed to disappeared with the end of last season.. (you Said "should Have been gone"..and "shoudn t even been there" 1000 % false).. The only mistake is they had the countdown longer than it should have been. These are last seasons packs, they should not be here this season. They have always been conditioned locked, and you knew when the old special event ended, you would no longer have those conditions. GL has done plenty of actions that screwed over players before, but this minor mistake is not one of them. Everyone knew these packs were locked behind 150 conditions and everyone knew than the Venom Special event was going to end when it did thus no one would meet the 150 condition requirement anymore. No one missed out on the extra oppurtnity to buy countach packs. If some players forgot that there was a 150 condition requirement and forgot that the venom SE would end soon and they would no longer have that requirement, that is on them

Unfortunately the game sometimes resets your age during an update. This happened to me one time. But age restrictions can only be lifted by Customer Care. This channel (#switch-issues) is for general issues that affect several or all players. Individual issues are handled through Customer Care. Open a ticket through the help button inside Asphalt 9. Tell them you cannot change your name or create a club. They will ask you for a proof iD. Send a picture of your mom's id or passport or driver's license.

But can you please explain what is wrong exactly and why it happens?
I played normally ~1-2 hours ago and now I can't login due to 1-3-5-2 error (screenshot attached).
Also attaching "test connection" for home network (gigabit_internet.jpg) - where I can't login to the game (despite the good internet speed).
While with mobile internet (with muuuch slower speed // mobile_internet.jpg) - I can login (well, actually that speed is not enough to enter some race, but still can login and check shop/Clash f.e.)
P.S. if required - I can DM you screenshots with IP

UPD: changing DNS from automatic to manual (8.8.8.8 / 4.4.4.4) helped

I'm going to have to do a screen capture next time this happens, but there have been a handful of times where I cross the finish line behind 2nd or 3rd place and somehow end up in last place with yellow dots still behind me on the map. Also, since the last update, the sound has been messed up. Really annoying when between races you have a garbled static-y engine sound that won't go away.

The game definitely has some issues with the graphic. It could randomly run into some slow motion mode and without any control response.

Just as the video shows, the previous 30 to 40 seconds run like a butter, while, all of a sudden, it slows down, yeah, to some unplayable speed.

The game should give all players equal opportunities, shouldn't it? Why I can't play career mode when I don't have the ZR1 open? Old players got it a long time ago without much effort. And now I have to try to get it from MP1, which you cut down on rewards, and last time you made it completely impossible for new players. If devs set a condition for promotion, let them provide a real opportunity to fulfill it. For example, now if I don’t have a certain car to complete SE, I can get it from packs. Why not do the same here?
Or even remove the condition from the last stage of the career "traditions meets future"

The game has become almost completely unplayable in basically all game modes. After 15 minutes (the latest) , it either crashes randomly or displays the texture glitch almost everywhere. BA, Shanghai, osaka, kairo, auckland, greenland, US midwest, Rome... From the top of my head.
