Been for days now that the game is essentially unplayable. Just wasted my runs in the GP... Car feels like driving a big lumbering truck. Does not respond to keyboard in any way. Please GL fix this lagging issue. I'm running on a high bandwidth fibre line and never had it this bad before. In the past this would only on occasion after playing ads, but now it occurs virtually all the time.

MP2 is basically useless, once you get high enough on ladder, you race either 1vs1 or at best with 3 others. Reward is so pitiful that its impossible to even grind it till last milestone.

And wasting fuel just to decline to where is more players is not very clever, also really bad when its only option.

Nitro surfing aka slipstream is broken in looper prix. Nitro doesnt fill using ghost unless it is empty.

I've been trying for days, I deleted the game 15 times, I installed it, I reset it, but it doesn't work. Gameloft doesn't even explain it in support. Please fix the problem bwelki I will delete the game but there are not 1 but thousands of me. At least give a date and deal with it. Please FIX this issue.

OK, it is clear what is causing the lagging: 26 Gb in 4.5 hours. Of which about an hour or so was multiplayer; everything else were events or career. That is 1.6 MB/s... or 16 MBps roughly. What is GL doing? Emptying my harddisk to their servers?

@night halo My game launch 1/10 times and when it launches, I've max graphics on and I don't know how to fix this because when I re-put the normal graphics for my PC, it doesn't work when I restart the game and the graphics don't change... And I've literally no events, MP or any kinds of online game modes available, career is here but I try a race it's synchronising and it doesn't launch. I've re-installed the game, l've re-logged in the Xbox and I still isn't fixed after 4 hours... Also in my video, the game is lagging because of high graphics, it's usally at low graphics

Seems like landing on that thing placed in the middle made the car lose it's balance, similar to the traffic which sometimes does not move and becomes a stone when we hit it and makes our car jump in air.

Not sure if this is a Windows only problem, or a gameplay issue (not that I can post it in gameplay-issues. But the Porsche 718 has an issue with the Cargo Rims, in that the calipers are breaking through the spokes on the front set, and the C-logo as you can see in the front set in the middle (wheel-nut cover), is missing from the back set.

seems related to heavy network usage. Check in task manager how much bandwidth you are using. I find it is around 1.6 Mb / s consistently, even when not playing multi player. That is 16 Mbps. You must be on a very stable and very high bandwidth connection to not get any lagging...

1. Even tho Onyx is a 6* car, the Starway event will disappear once you reach 5 stars, because Starways are meant to be like that, they give you BPs upto 1* less than the max. Hence the event disappeared once you reached 5 stars.

2. No one on any platform is able to play with Miura. It's locked for everyone. Don't worry, it's an error on GL's side.

As i have that same 27 bps to get. From 1 star to 2 star was 23 bps but i only unlocked the car from step 1 and i had 32 bps before the event started

Thing is that i had that 27 bps reward unlocked to click on and i didnt click on it. I went to garage to star up the car and then as soon as a star up the car the game went on main menu and then on that starway event the step 3 reset so i didnt get to click on the 27 bps that was unlocked before

@rain atlas @dreamy lotus talking about the inputs... lots of the players are complaining about the "input lag", which manifests as a delay between pressing/releasing the key on the keyboard. when it delays on the "key_down" event, the car starts turning too late. when it delays on the "key_up" event, the car keeps turning. in both cases, it ruins the run because it won't go away until you restart the game. it's quite frustrating, especially, when you are trying to get the desired reward for 30K points in the MP1.
I could help you to track the issue down, just say what kind of information you need for fixing it.

Well, for me it's rather a random issue, didn't notice whether it's related to the specific ad. but I watch almost all of them since I'm grinding credits for the upgrades. 🤑
What I can tell for sure, is that the issue appears always from the start of the race. It never happens in the middle. If all is fine from the start, it will be so till the end of the race.
Given that I watch ads often it might be because of the particular ad. I'll try to gather some statistics on that. But, on the other hand, I don't have a huge playlist of the ads, meaning that I see only 3-5 all the time. So, if that would be an "ad issue", I should've faced it more often than I do.
Let's see what I can gather, tho.

PS: missed one point. for me, it never happens in the first race of the session.

Same. To me it seems like some sort of input buffer issue. Game definitely has a lot of input filtering, to the point that it sometimes doesnt even register keypress (especially brake/drift one).

I guess that input buffer or filtering or both sometimes fail and maybe get overwhelmed and just pushes all input in previous few (mili)seconds all at once.

Low sensitivity with a lot of keypress is especially prone in random "sudden turn into wall". High sens, not so much, basically never.

@rain atlas hey bro . i found out something about the input lag we r getting . many of them is coming from other players using Controller and other like me uses keyboard when we hit each other cars or even be in the same lobby it make Input lag . even TD player and MD player make input lag .
honestly it feels like the server mix up the car stats and steering setting with other cars .
for example if ur car have 87 acceleration but ur opponent has like idk 75 the server switch and change ur acceleration to 75 so basically u cant accelerate . or top speed for example . i had many races where i couldn't even catch up to a 4* sc18 with 357km/h top speed with my 5* sian with 389km/h in perfect nitro Boost for like around 15s i was right behind the other players getting his slip stream but couldn't catch up to him.it feels like my top speed is not real

From my club (around mid of top 100 on PC) two left, one just to lower rep club "and see how game goes" another just uninstalled.

Given game isnt much working and players are treated poorly, might be time to quit again for me too.

What happens GL? This season looks like a disaster. Let's not talk about LP prices and the difficulty of special events.
Now you have closed the current season 7 days in advance without saying anything. You have taken away the chance for so many clubs to reach 1 Million rep points and win prizes. Many clubs were close to 950K and lost major prizes despite paying an LP with dollars that are now in your pockets.
Is this discord server being read by anyone in GL management? Maybe the developers and community managers, need help, advice or guidance that can point them in the right direction. This is not good... and has been happening for too long now.

I know what you mean. In this way GL disrespects all the people who play A9 and also pay money.
We should boycott the LP for at least one season all together. If the management sees a drop in earnings, then alarm bells go off and someone will check if the A9 department is working well. I say this to help the developers and community managers. I think they need help to understand the needs of the players. So GL could also help them with training courses.

Hi boy you don't have to talk by exploiting your position. You are a GL employee and use the credit card owned by them to simulate the purchase of packages. You get paid by the company to make the videos where you buy everything in order to get other players to imitate you. Do you understand that people are not stupid? yours is pure marketing--no normal player can spend as much money as you invest. So think and speak as a normal gamer not as an employee of the game producers thank you. Bringing the game back to sustainable spending levels is also a good suggestion in terms of ethics and morality.😔

The timer is broken in GP for users on different platforms. Players appear to finish ahead of the ghost and show a green banner (under time) as they cross the finish however the timer indicates they are slower than the ghost. I posted a video on my channel where I clearly beat the ghost but was judged to be .5 seconds behind.

Reflection message addressed to GL regarding the LEGEND PASS issue. We users at the time of LP purchase were guaranteed several bonus conditions and possession of a minimum 2-star new car. This, as it has always been in previous LPs was to be guaranteed by the financial outlay in coins related to the LP purchase. The slowest time in my qualification group is 1:07.936, which is the 15th place time (and only one has the car at more than 1*). This is probably the most extreme group I've ever been in, but ridiculously hard qualification groups have been a constant for me. Very bad sensitivity issue with controllers in A9 on Windows. I've had this problem for weeks now and even bought a brand new controller but the same issue is there. Car has very low sensitivity on sharp turns.

On keyboard, it's perfectly normal, so the problem only appears with controllers. It definitely looks like an issue with the game and not my controller because when I check the controller's input in the controller settings on windows I can clearly see that the stick turns fully and has no issue.

60% sensitivity on multiple controllers and f1 lm (very sharp drift car) can't turn. 50% on keyboard and it's turning perfectly, even though controller sensitivity is actually supposed to be much better than keyboard's. Will this problem be fixed in the next update because it's been a constant issue for weeks.

I've had this problem for many weeks. I'm not sure but maybe the last update caused it. I ended up buying a new controller because I thought my controller had gone bad but am having the same issue with the new one. So many players use controllers and it's bizarre that this issue has been there since weeks.

In comparison, keyboard with 10% lower sensitivity (50%) is taking the turn very sharply and clearly has no sensitivity problem

I remember there was an earlier update that destroyed controller sensitivity. This seems like that problem though that time it was more severe.

"Sensitivity" in this game is just causing your car to turn over time instead of immediately reacting to controller input (that happens at 100% sensitivity).
I'm not saying that's the case here but I had this happen when my controllers analog was broken and not reaching 100% to either side. It's was like that "easing" just refused to reach 99% turn that my controller was at and instead hanged midway.
Also any controller sensitivity below 100 causes the car to turn left for no reason when initiating drift and that issue is ignored for almost 2 years.

from my side, it become quite reproducible now since I started to monitor it with the attention. it's clearly time dependent. I mean it appears after some time of running the game. it even doesn't matter whether you play or not, the game might be in the background. after like 15-20 minutes the issue is starting slightly manifest itself. then, it becaming stronger, delays are prolongs and sudden turns becaming harder.
in general, it behaves indeed like a "memory leak", not with the memory but with the input data.

Good evening. I think there is a problem for me with the key of the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4.
Let me explain:
I spent 29K Tokens to make sure I got the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 key.
Before doing so, however, I asked many players how many missions I had to complete and how many stars I had to have in each requested car.
All the players who gave me feedback all said the same thing. To get the key, they completed all the stage missions except the 3 missions you can see from my picture.
So I did the exact same thing.
They got the key and I didn't.
What I am asking is whether there are any miscalculations that I have made. In that case, I'm asking if you can give me the right suggestions.
But if I haven't made any mistakes, then it's either a bug or GL has changed the targets again. This would not be good, because after the LP scam, we calibrated our spending on a goal and GL changed it again. Or it's a bug that only affected me.
In any case, I ask for your opinion before I contact GL and ask for compensation. I want to go step by step.

Fix this track that you use in Grand Prix that you cant jump in there that is the red box. It's a glitch of a track that you cant take as the jump is blocked with barrier. As it is too OP shortcut like you had in Auckland where you could shave off 30 seconds. People do under 26 seconds thanks to this advantage shortcut that is basically driving out side of the track. As the track is really short it takes away the fair competition

Thanks, but this solution isn't applicable to the issue I'm facing as the solution is only related to keyboard controls, whereas I'm only having this low sensitivity issue with controllers, not the keyboard.

Let me understand something. Just a couple of seasons ago, the LP cost 9.99 / 14.99 euro and lasted 54 days. Inside, although small, there were advantages.
Now the LP pass costs 7.99 / 11.99 and only lasts 20 days, with no real advantages inside.
Furthermore, we would have to buy an LP that doesn't even give new cars, because """apparently"" there won't be an update anytime soon (correct me if I'm wrong).
So I don't understand. Is this a mistake on the part of GL's Asphalt department?
If the goal is to make the game fail, then we are on the right track. If, on the other hand, the goal is to make GL money, then we are on the wrong track. So GL is only losing customers, money and dignity.
I'm writing this in this channel, because at this point I don't know if it's an error in pricing or in the LP's shelf life. Since the developers have been making mistakes with the Countdown of all events lately, I have to think that the 20 days is a mistake.

yeah, I know about that, I saw it the other time I reported the same issue about constant 50mbs downloading on the background, the thing is, that folder is not filled, it's only at 396mb, not only that, my hdd is only 250gb, so it would not fit those 321gb, and I still got 20ish free.
It seems like it's downloading something that's already here, kinda like replacing files, so the size keeps the same.
For example, since the time I reported, I got the update for the legend pass, I got the image of the legend pass at 11.99, now it's at 12.99, the arash event is gone, stuff like that, so it seems like the game just doesn't stop downloading 😖
Last time I had to wait like a full 24 or more hours for it to stop, eventually it stopped... but all that time I cannot play the game, lots of lag everywhere, even in the menus. 🤷

So... since I was a bit worried with my SSD after @random sky mentioned it, I went ahead and delete everything inside c:\Users\YourWindowsUser\AppData\Local\Packages\A278AB0D.Asphalt9_h6adky7gbf63m\LocalState\VungleSDK\ since this was the folder that was constantly creating and deleting folders and files inside it, thus the constant download and unplayability of the game and menus.... and.... it worked. 🙂
Finally the constant background download has stopped.
Thx for your tip @fleet sparrow on deleting the vungleDiskCache, and thx @random sky for warning about SSD life. In my case it was the VungleSDK folder, but problem solved at last!!

MP update - am getting in to race with more frequency now. The limited series has few opponents though every time I get in. Usually, 1 to 3 opponents which seems odd unless no one's truly interested in that MP series? At least getting to catch up a little.

MP2 is usually dead or empty on windows because its self fuelling feedback loop of lack of players -> lack of incentive to play -> lack of players -> ...
SS limit takes forever to grind or is plain unreachable when available pool of cars doesn't contain at least 1 competitive garage-level one, current one is full of premium key cars and nothing can compete with max Sian so I don't believe even 1 person on PC/Xbox will reach 30 000 SS.
Also Master league is scarce as well, 5 days into season not even 10 people are in it.
Unless there's serious matchmaking revamp for MP2 coming I don't really see who's going to buy "multiplayer pass" to sit in queues just to play back to back duels.

This sums up MP2 issues for Windows nicely.

Honestly, solution is absolutely simple.

Reward for each race must be increased by how much players is missing. So in case of duel, winner takes equiv of 6/8 and loser gets 2/8. Good enough incentive to try hard. Same for any other number of players. Simply less players = higher reward per position.

Something like "no reward" shouldnt happen even with 8 players, cause fuel and time is way to precious for that.

seems more physics bug than steering sensitivity, notice how the car jitters completely differently compared to the recording on the right where it just kinda rolls a little

even weirder is that with my xbox series x controller it works perfectly fine.

tho it could also potentially be not a bug, as from my own research, i've discovered that cars react differently to if you use x to drift and left trigger to drift, some cars (for example the Techrules AT96) are better with the left trigger, as it has reduced start lag compared to x, while others (such as the cadillac cien) are the other way around, where the x button has reduced start lag for drifting

this would also explain why changing the steering sensitivity changes the way the car controls, as all that steering sensitivity does is just delay the speed at which a car starts drifting

You have to tap brake only, not nitro tap.
Also it's definitely a bug because only one specific control configuration is affected and sensitivy should not alter how car behaves when you're doing zero directional input.
Car always steering to the left also stinks of some kind of rounding error.

Sorry to hear about this.😟 If the game is crashing consistently on a certain level or when it starts up, it's very likely that some of the assets you downloaded when you were installing or updating weren't downloaded correctly. Uninstalling the app and re-installing it will usually fix these types of crashes.

Why aren't you doing anything to fix the driving problem?Three or four runs and control is lost. You need to re-enter the game every time.
