1. I've collected the Veneno event packs and it still shows the yellow sign at the daily events section.
2. All the cars that have been upgraded to the extent they could and there are still showing signs to upgrade more but when I click on it there is nothing I can upgrade more.

Well, it says 120fps but it doesn't feel as smooth as 120, but it definitely feels smoother than 60. And idk if that counter is 100% accurate as it is possible that it could just say that at all times

That counter just shows u the frame rate of the screen for you're phone. Not that games frame rate. If u wanna see the actual frame rate for the game. Go to developers option > scroll down until u reach "Hardware accelerated rendering" area. Scroll alittle down till u see "GPU WATCH". Tap on that and turn it on. *Guys, just so you understand... Just because you have a device with a 90 or 120 Hz display doesn't mean you'll be able to run the game at those FPS. If it's an average mid-range device, forget about that because it won't be powerful enough to handle it. That's why the game doesn't allow it.

The only change was that they rotated the sky on all the maps. Everything else remained the same. That's why everything is misaligned and in the opposite direction.

there is a specific step to enable that in settings. You can google it but know that enable developer options can void your phone warranty depend on where you buy it from. Even though it's not as deep as rooting.

when my refresh rate is set to 144hz, my game fps is limited to 48fps when on 60fps settings but when my refresh rate is set to 120hz my game fps gets a balancing fps of 55 to 60.

GL, fix the physics! You ruined them with the last update. They were already very unreliable but now they're even more unreliable. If you can't deal with the complicated Bullet Engine, at least revert the changes as they were before and fire the incompetent devs who messed up the code.

I'm having issues with the token refresh in the Sonic event!
I used my last token refresh for 500 tokens last night but it didn't refresh.
I have the token purchase notification turned on & I had to confirm that purchase.
But instead of refreshing, the refresh button went back to showing 2 refreshes & the first one for 250 tokens.
It hadn't removed any tokens yet, so I had to refresh again & confirm the purchase of 250 tokens this time.
Then it finally refreshed, but it charged me 750 tokens in total & the button went to zero refreshes for the day.
Now, after the automatic refresh earlier today, it didn't give me ANY token refreshes.
It's showing like I used all my refreshes for today & I haven't use any since the last automatic refresh!!!

From what @unique elk said, I think Volumetric Lighting is simply a replacement for God Rays. And it's basically the same function. That's probably why I never noticed the name change.

And yes, the Volumetric Lighting/God Rays remain in the game. They're just barely noticeable due to the rotation of the sky.

Volumetric lighting is based on the direction of the directional light. But since the sky rotated, the Sun also changed its position. Therefore, the Sun was the brightest part of the sky texture, and before the error, it was aligned with the direction of the directional light.

That's why volumetric lighting is no longer visible. Because it depends on a sufficiently bright (emissive) texture to show off. And since the Sun is no longer in its correct position, it's misaligned with the light source (the directional light), which is the direction of volumetric lighting...

It started 3 days ago - I was playing gauntlet and when I clicked on 'NEXT' the game suddenly froze - which also sometimes happened the days before but until this point only the app crashed, not the device. The last time the game caused my phone to reboot (while it was running in the background) was a few updates ago. But at least I could finally boot up back then after like a minute of 'rigor mortis'.

This time my phone did not only crash, it went into a bootloop and I could only boot up/shut down, when the battery was finally depleted. I charged it and eventually reopened the game as I thought it was just a 'bug' but after a few seconds the phone crashed again. In the end I needed to boot into 'safe mode' to get rid of the game.

After this my phone was back to normal and worked absolutely fine for the last 3 days. Until like 2 hours ago, when I saw that there was a 'bugfix' available. So I gave it a chance, but it instantly sent my phone into bootloop again just logging into the game. I was lucky that the battery was already low, so the lopp stopped after a few cycles.

In the meantime I could boot up again and immediately uninstalled the game. And I am back to normal again - no issues.

The phone only gets warm not hot like some updates ago where it burned my hands and I could have fried some eggs on it. And I can also play other games - although they might not be as 'demanding' as ALU. 😉

Is there anyone else with the same phone and/or having a similar issue? I am currently using someone else's phone but sharing a phone and switching between the different google accounts to play such a time-consuming game is not going to work for long.

This is evidence that the Sonic store has a glitch that resets the token refreshes when you buy the first one before the daily goals reset & the second one after the daily goals reset.
The dailies reset at 7pm in my local time & i bought the first one at 11:24am & the second one was bought at 8:48pm, less than 2 hours after the daily goals had reset.
If you attempt to purchase the new, reset 250 token refresh, it will charge 750 tokens, empty your refreshes to zero & it will cause the new token refreshes to skip the next automatic store refresh.
So, you'll have to wait a full day after the next automatic refresh before you're offered 2 new token refreshes.
So, it's best to buy both refreshes after the automatic store refresh, but before the daily goals reset or you risk losing tokens & a day's worth of new token refreshes.
Yes, it bas been reported to customer care & the first time they claimed the device could not repeat my results.
This time I proved the parameters of the glitch with screenshot & this video, so let's see if they ignore it.

I have an open conversation with customer care with the I.D.: 3836653
I have provided screenshots & video evidence in that conversation that proves the Sonic store is glitching when the first token refresh is bought between the automatic store refresh & the daily goals reset & the second refresh is bought a few hours after the daily goals reset.

This glitch resets the refresh button instead of refreshing the store.

If you attempt to purchase the 250 token refresh after it was reset, it will charge 750 tokens & you won't receive new token refreshes when the store refreshes automatically.

It skips the next store refresh & you don't get new refreshes until the next day when it refreshes again.

I have already provided the video & screenshots on this thread, but got no response, so I'm trying to get someone's attention about this issue.

It may be a problem with the game recognizing local time zones, like the sponsorship glitch that causes contracts to run out early when it turns midnight in local times instead of lasting 24 hours like it should.

That glitch has been ignored since before Unite was released.

Maybe the combination of both these glitches will bring some attention to these issues & someone will attempt to fix the problem.

Btw, I'm not trying to receive compensation because I was compensated for the first glitch that occurred.

I'm just trying to help resolve the problem so that others aren't ripped off.

I'm doing my best to make GL aware of this glitch & the circumstances & parameters that cause it.
I've limited the possibilities & conditions that could cause it & I'm hoping that they realize it could be as simple as the game's ability to recognize & decode local time zones.
When I've previously pointed out similar glitches, including the sponsorship glitch, they basically implied that it affected very few players, so it wasn't worth the trouble of fixing it.
I'm hoping they will realize that it could continue to affect future events until it finally has a cascade effect that causes glitches within multiple operations across a majority of players.
So, if this glitch is associated with local time zones & when the daily goals reset, then it's a continuing problem that's already causing a cascade of glitches that negatively impacts progression & fairness within the game.

If your connection speed is normal after doing a speed check, then it may be a problem with local game servers.
Otherwise, the only possibility is the device.
If you reset the game & device, then it's gotta be one of the two connection issues.

my issue is that my pad has received the option to play at 90 fps, but the game still runs at 60 fps (i confirmed this using the option to show refresh rate which is available in developer options for android devices)
the display is capable of 144hz, and my device wouldn't receive the option for 90 fps if it wasn't capable of it
it's an issue I've experienced ever since the option for 90 fps rolled out
even when i rechecked everything, turned off battery saver, set the display to scale up to 144hz whenever possible,
the game just would not run at 90 fps

I don't know how you're measuring the nitro time. But with cars like the DS, I'll run the entire lap with yellow nitro on and it barely gives 40s of the 900s you're asking for.
It's been over a week since I finished the entire Sonic event and I'm still logging in daily to waste time doing those eternal conditions

the sonic missions are only for the sonic event racing around the world, not regular ones. if you use the ssc in non-sonic events, it won't count

i think doing 360s and barrel rolls for the ssc is easier in duel stages, so do those there. as for the nitro requirement, yeah it's ridiculous. so far i got 430-something seconds in one car and less in others
