Dude,why want those options if device can not handle it lucky you can see cars now. Really should be a option in settings to enable lighting, Bloom, Blur, like most games that have high requrement, theese should not be enable by default.

If it can handle Android OS 13 then game should run on it also, over 30% of the market is on this, This is your target to reach most players.

I don't know if this is an issue with the game or something else, but I'm having a second or two of lag time between my controller input and the corresponding action on the game. I'm working it bluetoothed, but I've also tried it wired in. I'm playing on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. I'm using a PS4 controller. I've also tried an Atari joystick, both plugged in and bluetoothed. I'd be grateful for a fix, if there is one. I didn't have any problems before.

Got promoted to Silver I in mp1 did 1 race, finished 5th because cars flying everywhere - only 2 players with green status. Got demoted to Silver II.

MP1 is just as horrible as last time Gameloft used this format - nothing has changed since then. Give us back Rush.

Might have to wait for a fix, its more of a polling issue for android, have not tried with Xbox One cotroller, but PS4 does have camera issues with Windows on pc as not nativlely supported (not on my rig but newer PCs might be different.)

It's the Real Me Gt Neo 2. It's the powerful phone still the game lags and drops fps constantly on default 60fps settings. What shall we do then. The Asphalt 9 was the real G.o.a.t but ALU idk what to say. 😭

Just saying Hardware should not be the reason for the game to run smoothly, but if the OS if on 13 it should run regardless of hardware. if lower, then sys upgrade is necessary as 9 is really outdated

Yeah, I had some mapping problems with the PS4 controller when playing on the PC, and that's why I use the Atari controller for the PC version. But I've been using the PS4 controller for close to 2 years on the Android game and this is the first real problem I've had using that combination. It's a bad enough lag that I'm constantly wrecking or not reacting in time to hit certain actions. I'm current on the OS and everything.

Day 14 of reporting as Shameloft Customer care doesn't give a damn.
My game is crashing whenever I start a race. Doesn't matter what race it is. Issue persists in Career, MP, Daily Event, Special Event.
Haven't played a single race after the Asphalt Legends Divide update.

  -in season series no ranking after the race i get it black no score on it
• the game stucks and the phone auto restart like 4 to 5 times /day
• the game crashes like 2 to 3 times / day
• when club mate chat i get words with stars ***
• shop without pics i only see asphalt legends unite logo everywhere
• my game crashing takes much time to get back to the race (lot of cinematic even i turd it off)

yeah, i checked some gpu/cpu stats while playing the game before and the 8 gen 2s gpu never even crossed 75 percent usage 99 percent of the time, there was enough headroom for performance so removal of shadows was unnecessary.

They removed all graphical updates on Android (the biggest customer base platform) which before launch they made it the Major Selling Point, and still can't fix the overheating issue and random crashes, but with new bugs added which is that events&shop contents fail to load.
Now the game is even worse than A9 era performance and experience wise ngl.

If Gameloft put up ALU in such a rush without any internal testing or feedbacks to compete with NFS Mobile then bravo both disastrous.

Still suffering massive overheating, graphics glitches and random lag spikes on a Samsung S21 (on performance graphics setting) post "fix"
Also needs to be an option to disable name badges in MP added ASAP. On smaller screened phones they still block far too much of your vision.

If there isn't another update which resolves these issues fairly soon I will be uninstalling and moving on to something different. Right now the game is borderline unplayable and definitely not enjoyable for me and I'm sure many others in a similar situation.

So the new Asphalt legends lobby is good, the UI is good, the paint and shiny materials are good, the colour scheme of black and purple of the user interface is good. However the major drawback and the thing which is not good is the gameplay. Especially the lags, stutters , frame drops, crashes and several other glitches. So just bring back the Asphalt 9 gameplay and combine it with Asphalt legends Unite above mentioned things. Asphalt 9 lobby, UI ❌ Asphalt legends Unite lobby, UI , paint ✅ , Asphalt 9 In game gameplay and smoothness ✅ Asphalt legends Unite ❌. Note - The new engine is screwing everything and everyone up. Looking forward for a permanent fix for all the issues

I think there is a pretty easy way to fix all the graphics and performance issues
Just give the players the chance to dial in the optimal settings like in a9c
If some one has a low end device he can go for potato graphics and 120 fps
If someone has a 8 gen 3 then they can crack up the settings with 120 fps
Honestly it is the best of both worlds
And the dev team can take a break and focus on getting new features

Since it has already been implemented in a9c it shd be possible to do it in alu
Pls give it a thought

Seems Team Pursuit is bugged based on car choice.
Choose the Sarthe and you get 50 reps and 6250 base credits for a win (ad multipliers work)
Choose the Drako and you get 250 reps for a win and 12.5k base credits (not usual ad multiplier)

Having Loading issues after clearing cache (to keep seeing the cars) about 3 minutes to load intro and 3-5 min to load a race. Should not have to wait that long, I use the tablet to get coins but limited to 8 races a hour, was faster but have gotten slower. The fps drops now from 60 to 30 fps which makes the experience inconsistent and why the PC version has the new sound effects like the new shockwave and nitro sound effects while the mobile version not having those. Cars, graphically wise, really improved. When it comes to other aspects like the track graphics it's inconsistent it's good then it goes horribly awful depending on the track. Missing lots of effects from the previous version like MOTION BLUR

Yes the game has gotten slightly smoother that is true (the message I'm replying to has the context), but what I noticed is that the game runs smoother when I'm connected to WiFi than when I'm on cellular (4G). This wasn't the case before ALU though, and both my WiFi and cellular speeds are consistent. This is further confusing cuz even if I'm far away from my router at the lowest connectivity corner, even then the game runs smoother on the WiFi than if i turn on cellular. Smoother as in, yk, slightly less frequent lags here and there, and shorter loading times.

As a side note, Cellular network consumes more power(hence generates more heat) than WiFi connections in general so that might be a contributing cause if not the main one.

The game definitely needs optimization and that was mentioned in patch notes last day as well that Team is working on Performance Issues.
(Yesterday's patch doesn't affect perf that much; they will drop a perf centred update soon). I also said the extra heating might be a contributing factor i.e. it makes the difference between WiFi and Cellular more apparent but may not be the root cause.

This is a comparison of graphics on ALU and Asphalt 9 China
C9 graphics are set to the highest, and they give capped 60fps .
ALU graphics are set to the lowest ( performance) as other settings just instantly make the game crash, and even then, its getting 25-30 average fps with major lagspikes, dropping to even 5 fps.
Imo just give us an option to change back the API to OpenGL ES. This Vulkan is causing a lot of problems.
The graphics look very pixelated, like in 2000s , while C9 graphics look crisp with all the old lighting effects working perfectly fine.

Please look into it, its a sincere request, Android playerbase is in an urgent need of fixes now

The optimization of C9 is actually very bad. After playing with my 8g2 at 120fps (full high picture quality) for a period of time, there will be serious frame drop (when I used a radiator during this period). It would be even worse if we recorded the screen🥲

My android was good enough to run asphalt legends at high graphics and asphalt legends unite at medium graphics. I did not face any issues related to game performance after unite update....until now.
I have been trying to open my game and it's stuck at this screen, playing music in background

Wonder if they can test perfomance without the animated cut scenes, seems they get caught in a loop sometimes , think most of us exit out without letting it play through, seems like it won't exits sometimes it just hangs there, have to exit out by closing the process through system. probally happens when loading too, might be cause of long wait times when starting. just might be lower devices can not handle the transition too well. (the garage. (could have done better by giving some object to reflect than than animated wall background)

Consider my Steam account cross-saved with Android. When I access it on Android, I'm getting absolutely no events of any kind; only free packs and sponsorships are working. The same account is working perfectly fine on Steam. Clearing cache and reinstalling on Android hasn't worked at all. (It's showing app version 24.0.4c)

2. There is no back button on screen ( I have to force close the game and reopen the game to play ) .

Game is unplayable with a Bluetooth controller on Android. Game freezes every ~50s or so for ~20 seconds. Happens both in race and in game menu. Disconnecting controller or connecting wired controller eliminates behavior. See event ticket timer on video for freezes (first freeze at 0:07). Did not happen with same controller on iPhone 14. Also does not affect other games.

@solar quest I can still find constant framedrops despite the 3rd Hotfix on my Real Me Gt Neo 2 with snapdragon 870 and 12gb ram. Android 13. Please fully optimise the game and make it fully buttery smooth with no loss of graphics. Maintain shadow, details etc

I think this a mixture of display resolution issue & graphic options
(Like on my phone I have the option to change display resolution from 1080p to 1440p, setting it on 1440p makes the textures look better)

Maybe they set the resolution of the textures to appear that bad for your specific phone Chipset (maybe for compensation or whatever they think it's a balance between performance & quality)

Day 20 of reporting as Shameloft Customer care doesn't give a damn.
My game is crashing whenever I start a race. Doesn't matter what race it is. Issue persists in Career, MP, Daily Event, Special Event.
Haven't played a single race after the Asphalt Legends Divide update.
(Hotfix made no difference)

2nd August update also didn't work.
