I hate these ppl who think theyre the most entitled ppl in the world.
I was driving down the TCH in my town, doing about 45-55 mph. A group of people was on the other side of the 4 lane (!) highway and decided to Jwalk across. 😑 The other side of the 4 lanes was quiet.
Well there was one lady who was in front of them who reached the center median first....and just put her hand up in a stop motion and kept going across 2 lanes of live traffic.
Well im in the rightmost lane, and she crossed the left lane and entered my lane about 200 feet in front of me.... when im going almost 50 mph in a 60 zone! I had to nuke the brakes to avoid hitting her.
4 wheel lockup ensued, as well as blaring horn and firework show from my studded tires. The trucks behind me also slammed on their brakes and slid as well. She looked up at me, and started running, making it to the ditch. I ended up reaching the spot where she was barely a second later, still doing close to 30 mph. 💀 Could have been a 6 car pileup but thankfully my town has skilled drivers lol...no one got close to touching anyone.
That shook me up for the rest of the day...even 2 hrs later my hands were still shaking.

Oh and this all transpired in the timespan of 5 seconds. 😰

i think tefal figured out how to make ecosystems out of their frigging cookwear

my mom burned our pan like a week ago by accident by leaving it on heat with nothing in it for an unknown amount of time

we had to throw it out

it was like, your average pan, no detachable handle and everything

anyway mom stumbled across some cool pans, and got me to buy them

they arrived today

they are cool, i bought two of them because they were the same price as one pan, and they came with the handle

these are tefal ingenio line of pans

and the main point is that they have a handle that clamps right on the side of the pan

instead of attaching to a separate thing

so they're easier to use in ovens or in fridges

anyway i try putting on a lid with the handle on

...it doesn't close all the way in

like, it bumps against the handle and leaves a gap

i tried looking up lids that have a cutout for the handle and guess what, tefal sells these

...except they're priced as much, if not more, than the pans themselves

...and there's no chinese bootleg alternatives

and despite that there have bootlegs of the frigging handle

like what the hell

the handle is pretty complex

since it's got springs and buttons and stuff to actually clamp to the side

anyway i just ordered some silicone rim pan, hopefully it'll work out

for some reason after that windows 8 laptop updated it just started shutting down like half a minute after it booted up

well, windows 8 tablet

it's a hunk of junk that uses a 32 bit cpu so im not sure i'll be able to install a modern linux distro on this

it also refused to boot from a windows 10 flash drive for some reason
