it literally doesn't matter, if your connection is over wifi the modem or router could've temporarily conked out, the network card on your motherboard could've conked out, if it was at a peak load time where you live you might've been temporarily disconnected from the broader network. and blocking me won't fix it at all lol

what you can do however is delete the gameloft folder from your documents - thats where all the game data gets cached, and dont worry about it as your player data wont get wiped since its already connected to steam

From the many users I've helped, most of the time it's caused by connection issues as Toxxy mentioned, but I feel the main problem lies on the server's end rather than the user's

Seen it working consistently for several people on the same network and sometimes all of a sudden it never loads for them regardless of what network they switch to, which leads me to believe it's a server-side issue

I don't agree, Season Tokens were absolutely wonderful! They are the main reason why I was able to progress so fast in this game. All my club mates loved them to. Not in their original released form but the last few months they were around especially the black friday/BOS timeframe.

When that happens, AND I also happen to get a milestone reward that same race, then I only get the milestone reward and the screen with the league card packs doesn't appear after that.

sorry, still testing. currently I have to really pull my left stick to the left for it to register in game. I'm not sure if this is a game issue or hardware issue. Upon using the tests on steam for controller, even a very slight movement on the stick is being registered (seen from steam controller test), but in Unite, it doesn't. Small movements with the stick to the right, it does register, but small movements to the left doesnt. I have to pull the stick like 20% to the left for the car to go right

here, I am just barely pulling the left stick to the left, and it gets registered on the steam test. However, its not the same in-game. I have to pull the stick about 20% to left for it to register as steering to the left. Pulling the stick to the right is fine, even with very small movements. Only the left side is the problem

Its not really, you can see in the screenshot, even a miniscule tilt on the controller gets registered, proven by the left joystick coordinates. The left stick in the screenshot didn't even look like its tilted, but I am tilting it very slightly, which shows how sensitive the controller is. This should also reflect in-game.

yes, that was asphalt 9 - but this is asphalt unite now, the game engine is updated so it can support more graphical effects, at the cost of requiring directx 12 (which also resluts in worse performance) - you however dont have a gpu that can run directx 12 games so youll have to upgrade your hardware or play on mobile (if your phone supports vulkan)

asphalt 9 used to support -directx to switch back from dx12 to dx11 and -gl to run the game in opengl mode - but those launch options got randomly removed like half a year before unite got announced, which then meant you were stuck running dx12 unless you used dxvk to trick the game into thinking you couldnt run more than dx11. after unite came out, dx11 support was completely dropped and unless i begged for vulkan support in this channel, we wouldnt have -vulkan possible nowadays

just dont expect vulkan to run much better than dx12, the game isnt that well optimized to make much of a difference

Currently cars from mobile platforms drive more like a steady wall in mp game, which means whether they hit others purposely, or others hit them, they can always maintain more speed, and that also make them can push other players to the wall or force other players to crash on corners (but others can’t push back or do the same thing). Since the game always states ‘fair play’, as the dev ‘fix’ the gas less trick for switch, how about refining more ? It’s definitely unfair to players from other platforms for now, the cars drive more like a volleyball (can be pushed, hit, or even jumped on) when being compared with mobile platforms.

The effects that it adds since the alu became a thing are so excessive they sometimes cover the whole screen, and you are the first delusional person out of dozens over dozens of players I discussed this with to say that it looks okay and doesn't interfere with vision

i just hope that someone in the current developer team at least has some understanding that static shadows are supposed to be baked in and not consume fps for nothing while looking like poop

shadows look hilariously bad (and charming in their own way for being so scuffed) when you have them set to the lowest resolution - and i use them for that sole reason (and performance)

While the game isn't perfect and it's obviously rough around the edges, you can't expect them to give high-res textures.

Man, this is primarily a mobile game. You're not even suppose to pixel peep textures while racing. I would understand if you hate on decals that looks like crap sometimes. But other textures? Nah...

issue is, the game does have higher resolution textures, ive been using them back in asphalt 9 with the help of dxvk - but since i can no longer use dxvk, all textures are visibly smeared
