turns out one janky but still useful trick i was using on my maps back in gzdoom days just straight up crashes the whole game in this newfangled uzdoom

I mean same I'm just thinking about the book, where they have simon reynold's 'famous' definition of 'rock instruments that don't play rock music', but this actually just covers a tiny amount of what's usually known as post-rock. But Reynolds said this definition excludes any kind of, well, actual rock; so he'd even exclude the post-rock classics like Slint because 'they definitely rock' (he considers them to be more prog-punk) (and mogwai obviously is even more rock). it's just funny to me how even this simple explanation that i also kinda adhered to hasn't been what it was for like twenty years now
