not only does silksong have way more bosses than HK, but the bosses on average are way more complex and involved than in HK. There are still some fodder bosses like ||Watcher, palestag, and voltwyrm||, but for the most part, the overall boss quality is 10x better than HK

Though I have heard that other games like Assassin's Creed Shadows, Doom: The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur, and Death Stranding 2 have released (or are going to release??) this year too. And although I haven't played them, I heard that they're pretty big??

That is true, and I can that being a useful argument, if only, like, an optional area/section of the game required you to use the harpoon, but it's required for an area you need to get the ending/complete the game.

So I think at this point it's more of a movement ability that can be used offensively, than an offensive ability that can be used for movement

I'm not a huge fan still because, in a parkour section, if you stocked up on Silk to give yourself a heal if you mess up a bunch, you'll still gradually bleed it away doing the natural parkour movements

another tip for Mount Fay I have is you can use the Flinstone tool, the one that makes your weapon be on fire! it helps prevent the cold for a few more seconds

Dang... That really feels like a missed opportunity. Not just to make the game easier, but because it feels weird to have a bug whose whole purpose is Upgrade Hornet's Cloak For Better Use, and then have a freezing section, and not have an option for her to upgrade it.

Like, maybe the materials to upgrade the cloak is hard to get! So you have to weigh getting the materials vs just roughing it out, but I wouldn't mind seeing more uses out of her

I worked on an automated race maker for a game named Planets, such that a random world seed is created, and the racetime.gg race gets started, with the file uploaded into that Discord. I'm about half way done with it I think. Also updated my video-bot posting software to work better with multiple server posting. @feral bobcat

The game handles the procedural map gen. I'm automating asking the game to run, get to that menu, make a new map, and gathering the created files. The true heavy lifting was done by the devs.

I lack API calls in the game, but have API calls for the DIscord post and the racetime.gg post. I've got screenshots of what the game looks like, and detect certain sections of the screen like the title of the page to know if I'm in the right spot, and when I see that, issue a few button presses and look again.

I would love for a "use settings file x to make a world and close right away" command line option.

A potential goal is learning the file format (it's in JSON), and manually creating a file outright. That goal isn't today.
