And on Poseidon you literally don’t even want to attack

The main reason people rack them up sooner is they play their fav weapon repeatedly (like you got 5 w the shield) - my guess is you’ve done at least 10-20 runs w shield and feel good with it. I picked a different weapon every run (still let dark thirst pick my weapon most of the time) and it took me maybe 70 to get to ten clears and credits. Both approaches work!

As long as you remember to lose your Stubborn Defiance before picking up any Athena boons (if possible), this can help a ton in any run that’s using Stubborn Defiance. 42 HEAT RAMA LETS GO! This was literally first try, unseeded. I didn’t end up with a lot of boons, but I had more than enough to absolutely destroy. I took a non-boss Styx path with Athena for that DD, which was definitely worth it (although in the end was not needed, but if I had gotten a 3-sack and lost my ToSD then it would have been). The only thing I really was missing was Killing Freeze, but I got Frost Flourish in C25 so I couldn’t really expect to get that. I have definitely decided that I am way better with Rama than Beowulf, and that Rama is probably my best bet for setting any further heat PBs.
Not highlighted in this image but very helpful to the build were:

Ruthless is good, but it’s really really high skill to use it so I wouldn’t suggest it. That extra dash does way more. These maybe are some aspects that would prefer RR, but in general I’d highly suggest GR

Just beat the game for the first time! (on my 53rd run)
Amazingly, this was also my first time clearing Elysium (stupid Theseus and his god calls), so I somehow managed to clear Styx and beat Hades blind.
Despite the fact that Megera and the Heroes of Elysium killed me at least a dozen times each.
I did not expect this set of boons to be so powerful, but lightning was pretty much continuously striking everything without me really having to do anything.
So Theseus and Hades just melted way faster than I can usually kill things.

Was so nice beating the game with a weapon that wasn’t the shield for once! With punishing sweep, insane damage with a lot of things including Artemis aid and an epic mistral dash, and a ridiculously fast spear toss, I had floored the bone hydra, Theseus and Asterius, and Hades (the boss of course) with insane levels of damage from my special to slam in my first non-shield win. Next stop:beating Hades with the bow!
Also started with lambent plume, kept it the entire run and it was kinda busted ngl

Hermes stuff is always good (extra dashes and dodge chance especially) but Rush Delivery is arguably the best speedrun boon in the game (either that or tidal dash) assuming you have Hyper Sprint

My only notes for that pact are that CP1, JS1 and especially AP1 can make things a lot harder
I would definitely not advise taking AP1 below 40 heat
LC4 with stubborn defiance is actually great at 32 heat
If you plan on doing 32 heat again, which I know you said you probably don’t, I can definitely help you get a better pact setup that will make it more manageable

Man what a beautiful ride. 115 runs and I got that beautiful Platin trophy. Habe over 300 games and over 7 years ps4 gaming. Only three games Platin so far: Dead Cells, Slay the spire and now Hades.
Fantastic game(s). Will definitely come back to hades from time to time. It's so much fun. Didn't do this with slay the spire or dead cells. But with hades I will.

I am a fellow Playstation player and while I have gotten a few more Platinums (262 or so), I have also love platinuming Dead Cells (did it twice, for the US and EU versions) and am about to platinum Hades as well (but plan to play way beyond that and also get the platinum again on Ps5)! I have never played Slay the Spire but wanna check it out someday. And I also downloaded Transistor and Pyre (already platinumed Bastion) after playing Hades.
What great games…have you tried Rogue Legacy? I platinumed that one also and it was fantastic but much harder than either DC or Hades…

Wow that many platinums. Respect! I have rogue legacy but didn't look into it closely. Just a couple of runs.
Games which are on my list now and will check for next addiction gaming: risk of rain 2, enter the gungeon, binding of isaac (33 % trophies already), dungeon of the endless, cuphead, crypt of the necrodancer. Also everspace is an amazing rogue lite but takes a lot of time during the runs. Same problem with risk of rain 2 without saving midgame which kind of sucks for a working family father. Spelunky 2 must be hell of a ride but damn so difficult.
After ur recommendation maybe I will give rogue legacy a closer try. I can never predict with which game I will fall in love.
Slay the spire was fantastic to make Platin. You really need try out so many different play styles. I love it when trophies challenge you to do new stuff.
I also downloaded tribes of midgard. Which I hope holds up to my hopes.

So many boons in this build were so strong. 4x divine dashes gave me incredible safety. The chaos attack boon gave me an insane amount of DPS. Deadly reversal was active most of the time thanks to my aforementioned 4x divine dashes, so that was very powerful. Also got Divine Protection at the end of Elysium. Love me a good spread Fire Zag rail run
