So I won, with this build, was gonna be a trippy shot build (if you know you know, if you don’t know it requires the Zeus/Dionysus and Demeter/Dionysius duo boons to be very strong) at around act 2, but, well you see the required boons are not there at ALL, yes this a new save file, and yes, god mode is on, it’s currently at 60% for those who are wondering.

Beowulf is a shield aspect and it is cast based, but due to how the aspect works, instead of casts lodging, they simply fall to the ground after use and can be picked up and used again

Not a bad build, but if you want to beat hades more quickly, Zeus special, static discharge, pressure points, hunters mark, Dionysus call, hypersprint, rush delivery is the ideal core build

Base damage of the rail is very low, so a percent bonus attack boon is not as helpful as say, Zeus attack

Which provides AoE as well as scaling via Static Discharge and other Zeus boons

It’s a matter of how effective each pom is going to be

a +% boon on rail strike is already doing piss-poor amounts of damage, but then you start adding miniscule amounts of extra damage compared to pomming some other boon

It’s a mix between how much of a boost this pomming will be, and how much that damage source actually contributes to your damage

Often it still makes sense to put most of your poms on your main attacking boon, and then put a pom on a few key secondary boons when possible

like artemis’s strike’s pom scaling may as well not exist, and it works way better to put poms on hunters mark and other secondary boons for crit builds with her strike

On the other hand, hangover scales linearly, so you just pour as many poms onto your hangover boons as possible and maybe throw a pom to another boon if you have something like tidal dash (which gains a massive boost from pomming)

I think that one’s kinda just common sense like… adding 10 to each of your strikes with lightning literally doubles your rail strike dps, but adding 10 lightning to each bow strike… 4 iq play

of course lightning synergise with rail especially since beyond just that initial hit, it chains around, giving you aoe and a very consistent way to apply Jolted with static discharge

Static discharge is a boon from Zeus that you’d prioritise pomming over your core boon from him tbh

it’s so chunky and scales hard with poms

compared to the cores

I think on my 30th try I had reached Hades for the first time but lost to him but the growth curve was waaaayyyy too rapid to defeat him within few tries. Hera 50 clear, 4th aspect to 50+, only sword and fists remain to pull off a 50 run

Taking bone hourglass at the start of elysium instead of acorn was a highly risky move but absolutely worth it (had a prometheus stone that ran out on the last encounter before dad)

I want to know what made this run so free, I had like 4 boons before getting to styx and there my time was ruined (got the sack in the second to last chamber)

multiple things here that may have contributed to the run being trivial:

• Dashstrikes usually cut your iframes short the second you press the attack button. Delta Chamber is bugged to let Zagreus keep his dash iframes when doing a dashstrike.
• Lightning Rod + epic Jolted is good safety. Do put a few poms on the Jolted though pls.
• Poseidon Dash + Breaking Wave makes small Styx rooms a joke

TIL that Flurry Cast actually makes your Cast fly faster, not just come out faster.

I think it's best seen with Hunting Blades, it does move faster compared to without Flurry Cast
