absolutely arthur. arthur is by far the best sword aspect and dont let anyone tell you otherwise. arthur has no downsides, while nemesis does have a downside, and its that your attacks deal less damage. being able to crit is completely irrelevant if the base damage is low, but having more damage and coverage is clearly better. what even is a "critical chance" anyway? what a terrible name. "massive damage numbers" is the stuff im after. just think how much cooler it is to be able to do 4000 damage in one hit compared to just lazily spamming dash strike. and dont even get me started on the design of the swords. the aspect of arthur design clearly surperior, because it is flipping huge, while nemesis is tiny. who doesnt like big swords? not me! and also, arthur (the character) is just objectively cooler and more chad than nemesis, who is neither cool nor chad. this is why the aspect of nemesis on the stygian blade, is clearly worse than the aspect of arthur, i mean, the aspect is even named after the original owner of the sword! it clearly gets bonus points for that.

The lifestealing doesn't make you faster per-say. But also, even if you're focusing on the lifestealing, non of these conditions speed you up at all. If you are optimizing for speed, EM2 and FO2 (and no other conditions) are probably optimal regardless of aspect.

Besides what they've already said, start pausing when making decisions like which room to take. It stops the in game timer so it saves you time. On top of that, guan yu generally likes Artemis special, aphrodite attack, and their duo heart rend. For your general damage combo it's usually special -> 2 dash strikes
