it depends on a lot of factors, really

it can be worth pushing midboss if its a god you really dont want and youve already seen a few other free rooms

you also have to make sure that you havent already seen other midbosses

like in ely if its midshop vs midboss and then you take shop the midboss door you see there is the last midboss youll ever be offered so you should take it

idk how correct it is to push midboss in other circumstances though

i think sometimes (using aspho as an example) in c19 you can see midboss vs combat

if you take midboss c20 you wont see shop but it you take combat you might go 21 shop 22 midboss

i dont know if thats ever the correct play though
