the best ones are ares for having the highest raw damage, athena for safety from instant death especially in hell mode, zeus if you have jolted, and ||demeter|| for boss control

Answer to that is story spoils, don't read if you don't want to be spoiled ||You have to clear a run ten times, which is considered completing the main story. After this, you will get eventually a dialogue with Hades that unlocks the rest of his hearts. Giving him the second nectar at that point will get you his Keepsake, which gives you access to his Call||

Ravenous Will is fine, you don't have to ask for every single decision that you have to make, you can just play and figure things out yourself, there are a lot of decisions in a run that are not very important and don't matter much in the big scheme of things

Pure Cast builds on Achilles just double-tap the Special occasionally to keep up the Cast buff, but otherwise you just kill things with your Cast pretty much.
