Ok so I'm in Elysium with the Ares keepsake and I have a choice between an pom upgrade and the ares boon. My question is... if I skip the Ares boon and go for the pom upgrade, will the next boon be the Ares or do I miss out on the benefit of the Ares keepsake by skipping the boon?

Honestly cannot remember how I unlocked arthur aspect but Im playing it all the time now and its really fun. Not top tier though

luck basically, get 3 gods before going a mid shop, next door should be a different god and with a random boon inside the shop you can get 5 gods already, then if your keepsake in tartarus is still not used thats potential 6, after that 2 keepsakes in asphodel and elysium for all gods

zeus, artemis, hermes favors are fairly easy (dialogue about zeus from other gods, dialogue about calisto (i think thats the name) and talk with hermes with maxed keepsake

Could use some helpful tips here. Been playing the game the last several days. Have about 30 hours into it. I can only reliably get past the hydra and nothing else. hmm I haven't thought much about generic mobs but here's stuff off the top of my head:
Spreaders (the floating things that shoot purple clumps that explode) - literally a pain. if you have deflect, you can deflect their clumps back to them. if not, kill them as they spawn (they have the smallest spawn circle). once the clumps explode, you can also pop them with regular attacks

Large chariots - maybe try to observe the pattern? they kinda charge a bit, then pause a bit. if you get behind them, they can't run you over

#

Flamewheel (small chariots) - any attack with a slight range can actually pop them without hurting you. like spear's regular attack or sword special. if not, lure them to explode on walls by dashing out of the way at the last moment. also works if you dash through a pillar

#

the humanoid enemies are also a matter of observing attack patterns, then attacking when you have an opening. the respawn is not tied to time - the lil spirits will float over to a weapon left by a previously-killed enemy, and respawn to that type.

#

more specifically, the archers will shoot the instant the crosshair on you disappears. their arrows have a maximum range, so if you can't get behind an obstacle in time, just dash far far away from them. if you stand real close to them before they put a crosshair on you, they won't attack. from my experience at least.

#

the shield folks will block front- facing attacks. so get them from behind, or with AoE attacks

#

copypasta of longspear advice: don't stand in front of them.

I think you have a small window of invulnerability after a dash, so you don't need to double-dash as fast as you can

#

also, dashing over "holes/obstacles" seems to be more efficient, as it gives you more distance than a regular dash

The low spoiler version of which characters give you ||companions||, is that eventually you will be able to give characters Ambrosia and the first time that you do that they will give you a ||companion|| if they have one to give you.

You’ll get there. The base bow is tricky and is very hammer reliant, but it’s got two very fun aspects

And calls are great - Poseidon’s aid is one of my favs, especially if I also get rip current and can spam it

Every once in awhile I’ll play a game that doesn’t have the function and it feels so strange not having the feedback from shooting or from driving and accelerating

Ever since Star Fox 64 came bundled with a rumble pack, I couldn’t go back 😂

what i mean with this, if you lose your sd before picking up an athena boon and she offers 1 of the 2 dd refill, she will give you a dd then your sd will regenerate next room

don't stand in front of rats, they bite fast and hard. stay behind them or dash to the side if you're in front

the crystal snake guys hone in you very slowly so you can get to the side and stay behind them, just have to pay attention when they start firing the laser

Yeah, spiked collar isn't really worth it, especially after maxing out thick skin. I much prefer something like Myrmidon Bracer or broken spearpoint (and obviously lucky tooth)

Something I do a lot is have runs dedicated to farming a specific material, where I prioritize that one mat over absolutely anything
