Can someone tell me, are you more likely to come across a 'Cast' boon if you have none equipped (or sold your existing one, for instance)?

Cos I picked up a 'Flood Shot' which was awesome, then I got the 'Curse of Drowning' duo boon which "upgrades" (replaces) 'Flood Shot' into something I'm finding a bit naff - for my build at least

I don't have the option to sell the duo cast boon (Curse of Darkness) at a well, but I do have the option to sell 'Flood Shot' - the base cast boon I got first - and presumably lose the CoD duo along with it. Which brings me back to my original question - would I be more likely to find a new 'Cast' if I sold Flood Shot and had no cast boon, or would I be just as likely to come across a replacement offering for my cast if I just kept it and carried on as normal?

unless the boss is very very near depleting their 1st health bar. bc if you take that one out, the spawns go away

i use atermis's call

I've never paid too much attention to calls actually, too many things to keep track for me

but try not to use greater calls in phase 1 bc the boss might poof off in the middle of it

Artemis is good if you charge it all the way up, pretty sure it nuked ~1/8 of phase 2's health

might be a good idea to wait for spawns and then using the call to damage them down quickly

for what it's worth, I've heard that Dio's minor call is pretty good for dps

For Aphro or Artemis call use it in ||Second Phase of Summons|| close to ||Hades so he receives all the damage|| and that should get him low enough for you to hit him one time and end ||then you should use greater again in <50% and it'd get him low. You can get him with a Companion or start to go funky with attacks||

That combo saved a lot of runs

You can pick up one hammer before Elysium, and 1-2 hammers in Elysium (depending on whether you picked up one before Elysium) for a maximum of 2 hammers. If you skip hammers, you can see more than 2, but you won't see another one after you picked up your second. You're guaranteed to see at least two hammers in your run, but it's possible to skip them entirely if you take other exits.

You can only get a third upgrade by buying the Anvil in Charon's Shop in the Temple of Styx. That will replace one random Daedalus upgrade that you have with two random, other Daedalus upgrades.

Dash-Attacks don't have i-frames. Make sure you empty-dash instead to evade attacks.

Other than that, just take it slowly and safe at first and see what the different enemy types do before you engage them. They generally telegraph their attacks, so look out for that.

Healing is rare especially in your first few attempts, so avoid taking unnecessary damage if you can in order to make it farther.

Well, you can also try to be more aggressive even in your early runs, but still, try to focus on learning enemy behavior at first if you want to learn more quickly. Like, leaving the last enemy in a wave alive just to more calmly look at its attacks and maybe practice dodging them and stuff can teach you a lot about how to deal with that enemy type in the future.

If you catch fast enough, you'll get a perfect catch, which has a 50% chance for a legendary and 50% chance for rare fish. If you're too slow for that, you'll just get a normal catch, which has a 50% chance for rare and 50% for common fish.

Ironically, that means rare fish are the most common.

And if you're too slow, you'll catch nothing at all.

The 50% chance was originally a bug when they added fishing in Early Access, but by the time they noticed, they were happy with how it worked out, so they kept it that way lol.

I feel like that's good for something like fishing that has a lot of different fish to collect so having even chances makes it less frustrating

There are some players who've complained they can never get a perfect catch, though.

So that's a bit of a bummer that there's 0 chance for them to get legendary fish if they don't have the reactions or there's too much display lag etc.

On the other hand, for some of us it took a long time to get all the common fish because we got a Perfect Catch every time lol. Had to deliberately delay my catches to get those or like distract myself by looking at chat while fishing or something.
