@sweet maple rarity and pom bonuses are just additive. Poms give diminishing returns, and some boons can't be leveled with poms. The first pom can often be as good as or even better than an increase in rarity, but the second pom is almost always worse.

For example, not one of Lord Hermes's boons can be pommed. The only way to make them stronger is by increasing their rarity.

for me it depends on how my run is going

#

if I got a bunch of basic boons for whatever reason I'd rather try to up the boon rarity of the ones I have
if I'm actually having boons where I'll prefer lvls I'll go with that one

but in general I tend to like future boon rarity to be better bunnygirlroll

Not really. I can tell you I take Refreshing Nectar most of the time, but my builds will likely be a lot more optimized towards DPS than yours at that point and towards getting what I want from that point forward, so Refreshing Nectar helps me capitalize on that. But I also take the other options depending on the situation.

if you give a character enough nectar you wont be a able to give them any more nectar, then you need to do something to unlock a heart that is stopping you from giving them any more nectar, once you unlock that heart instead of nectar you will give them ambrosia

stubborn defiance is for when you have more trouble with regular rooms than bosses. DD is usually better for where you're at

When you can regularly make it the final boss you'll want to be using DD instead of Stubborn Defiance. Hone those dodge skills to avoid early losses of DD. I myself struggle to not lose one or even two to Theseus and Asterius.

||When you get to the final phase you should play extra careful, whenever you see hades begin an attack dash away, in the first phase you can deal with the laser attack normally, dash behind him as he shoots lasers, but in the second phase you should hide behind the two rocks on the left and right side, when he spawns pots you should use a cast or a dash to destroy them, make sure you have something like athena's dash and make sure you don't dash attack, or you can use a call like poseidon or athena's call||

also try to learn asterius's moves to avoid his attacks. like when he jumps and strikes three times so that way you don't get caught getting damage too close to him. oh another thing in the beginning for me (bc they were literally the bane of my existence) was when he starts to charge, dash through a pillar so he runs into it and stops 🙂 hope that helps ❤️

||Achilles wants to be reunited with patroclus which is the guy you can encounter in Elyssium, to manage that I think you just need to give patroclus and achilles enough nectar and talk with them until at some point a special dialogue triggers and achilles will want to go find him, you need the help of nyx to be able to change achilles contract at the house contractor for the price of 5 diamonds, after that you can give achilles ambrosia and get his companion||

you could use a really op build called merciful end, you just need ares attack, athena special and athena dash, merciful end makes attacks with a deflect boon on it immediately sets off doom, so you need to dash strike to set off the doom, the attack applies doom and the dash sets off the doom, for hammers you could get long knuckle, breaching jab (i think thats what its called), and rolling knuckle, for hermes you should try to get more dashes.

I would recommend using the shield for that, and then abusing block. The Shield is a very begginner friendly weapon in my opinion and relatively quite easy to win because the block provides a very safe way to play (because you can just hold a button and then almost every threat is nullified)

you need to get the spear first, which is obtained by a story moment with achillies. After that, you need to put 5 blood into the weapon you want, and talk to an npc, it is different for each one and ill leave you to find them yourself.

you keep an eye & an ear out for the fishing spot
then you clear the room if there's enemies & walk over to the spot & interact
you listen for the audio cue & watch for the flash - sometimes it's better not to look right at the fishing spot itself

you then reel in by interacting again

the rarity is determined by speed
you can have up to 3? fake bobs, and then the 4th will be a real one, but the real one can occur at any time

It can be done once per room so long as you have a use of it and only once per run unless you upgrade it to allow additional uses or purchase an item from charon's shop to add another usage.

Omg what a run. Bow with the hidden aspect, no spectacular boons. Used up 7 death defiances along the way (thank you sweet friend in Elysium and Athena). ||satyr sack|| in the djdhsksjs last tunnel 😨 go to [redacted] with full health (about 275) but with no death defiance left. Made it with over 100 health left 😅 I have no idea how I made it but I did 😄

||during theseus' initial second stage where he summons the gods he doesnt raise his shield or anything he just stands there, if you have good damage output you can land a solid set of hits||

||finally aoe damage such as the rail's special or festive fog (dionysus' cast) works well when theseus is facing you||
