For ||Hades|| some things that worked for me were ||evergreen acorn so I had a little leeway to learn when to dodge his attacks||
Also ||Greatest Reflex from Hermes to make dodging easier|| and ||DOTs like Jolted and Rupture that multiply the damage from a single hit even if I have to concentrate on dodging||
Also ||you can focus on destroying the skulls whenever possible to cut down on damage from the blast rings and charge the God Gauge||
And finally ||I like to save my call for the two times he summons enemies during phase one and use Greater Calls in phase 2||

Honestly, there should be no shame in turning on God Mode ||until you get your first handful of successful runs||. Most of the bosses are pattern-based, so having a bit of an advantage can help you progress and see more of their attack patterns even if you're not getting to the point of killing them.

@formal phoenix I'm a fan of beating the Elysium bosses. I prefer having a Poseidon dash with a Dionysus special or attack (mainly because I'm using the spear) and CAST, DASH, CAST. If you have a God call, use it.
Dionysus because his boons have the Hangover ability.

kill bull first, his attack pattern is two swings and then a slam, in his second phase he might end the combo by slamming his axe behind him, whenever he starts to attack you should dash away, and for his bull rush you should dash through a pillar or you should run to the wall and dash out of the way at the last second, for the idiot you should keep your distance from him until bull is dead, then walk up to the idiot, he will do a double spin move that you can easily dash away from, then hit him, in his second phase you should spend more time dodging the projectiles than attacking him, after the beginning of his second phase its the same thing but there are more things to dodge

Heyo. So i've redownloaded hades yesterday after dropping it back in i think december, and i've been having a ton of fun. Still have yet to beat the game a single time, even when taking into account my previous time with it (so i haven't even ||unlocked the pact thingy, for example||). However, i'm having a relative ammount of success in getting to the final boss, since i've done that in almost every single run i've done today lol. But i didn't come here to brag. Rather, i've noticed something interesting in the final area, and am wondering if it's an intentional design choice or not: so almost every single run i've done today (which are like, 10 or more), i reached the final area, and have gone through nothing but the doors with skulls, the ones with tougher enemies at the end. However, every single time, i find the fetid sack at the end of the second skull door. No joke, every single time, i go through one of the skull doors, fight my way through that, go to the second door, and there's the sack at the end. And that leaves me wondering: is that a design choice the devs made? If so, how's it work exactly?

the hermes keepsake doesn't grant a boon from him. any way to make hermes pop-up...
You're guaranteed to see him at least twice per run, either way. But he can no longer show up if you already have two of his boons except there's always a 50% chance for a boon from him at the shop in biome 4.

if you did that already then you need to use 1 titan blood to unlock it
