I have this weird issue?
So I already know you only get the blood/diamond/etc. when you kill the bosses for the first time with the specific weapon.
But ... so I beat hydra with Stygian Blade and got a diamond and just now I killed hydra finally with Aegis (the second time I killed her) and she droped a diamond and I picked it up.... BUT I still have only one diamond. I went with aegis again, beat megaera and looked at the progression screen and there was diamond, as if I got it.
is that some bug?

You're better off dashing through him when you're close to a wall or pillar than dashing through a pillar.
If you mess up the timing for dashing through the pillarz he'll just easily zoom around it and get you.
But if you empty-dash through, he needs to make a 180° in a wider arc to turn around. Good chance for him to crash because of that.
And if he doesn't, you'll have more time to try again.
Ideally you're between a pillar and the wall and dash through him. Then he'll crash into either one of those trying to turn.
If you have Deflect on Attack or Special or Cast, you can just hit him with that when he gets close lol.
