It kinda takes each weapon and breaks them down into 4 that all have some leg up over not having aspects at all

some are pure statbuffs like +15% movespeed and attack speed while others change say your shield special into an autonomous spinning sawblade

there's two main options, a crit focused one and Merciful End

with crit you run either artemis or aphrodite on strike, and the other goddess on your special. You look for the Heart Rend duo between them that makes you deal 4.5x instead of 3x damage on crits, and you look for lots of strike and dash-strike damage from chaos

Double Edge is a priority hammer because it literally doubles your damage

aside from that like breaching slash and piercing wave are the next most important and then double nova and super nova if it comes to that

Hermes can give you more dashes with Greatest Reflex, or more pure damage by taking hyper sprint -> rush delivery

I think that's most of it?

Oh you'd be looking for hunters mark from artemis to chain crits

dash is like: tidal dash is always good, blade dash is a decent-ish substitute

Try to focus on the bull, he is the bigger threat, you want to kill him completely before moving to Theseus. Theseus will constantly throw spears at you, you can use the crosshair on Zag and the visual cues to avoid them, just a simple dash will do. Once his hp drops to a certain point, he will activate his call and get assistance from one of the gods not in your pool, you'll just have to dodge and find the safe areas in their attacks. It's a difficult boss, you'll have to learn their attacks but you'll get it eventually. If you wanna make it as far as possible and get a decent build I recommend you start Tartarus and Asphodel with an Olympian god keepsake, this will guarantee that your next boon is from that specific god so it helps you manipulate your build and target certain boons.

For the third and fourth biomes you want to use defensive keepsakes at this point. Skelly's tooth is a good option, you can also get the Acorn keepsake from the Asphodel NPC which is generally superior for boss fights.

Try to take your time, do not get greedy to get extra hits in. You need to get familiar with her moveset so you become better at dodging. When you want to dodge an attack only use your dash and directional buttons, do not try to input another action such as your attack/special because it'll get rid of your iframes and you can get hit, so you lose the safety of your dash. Try to keep some distance between Zag and Meg, even moreso when she does her bullet hell attack. In general, ranged weapons might be easier. You'll also have an easier time if you have some good damage, so you kill her more quickly. Depending on the weapon you are running you want determine whether it relies on slow chunky hits or fast low dmg hits, based on that you can try to pick up a relevant god in Tartarus to improve your dmg. For slow hits take % increases so Athena Artemis Aphrodite, for fast hits take Zeus Dionysus or Ares. You can also find some generally useful picks such as Tidal Dash from Poseidon or Divine Dash from Athena, they work on a lot of weapons. There isn't too much strategy because it's still quite early in the run, eventually you'll get more resources as you play and build your mirror so this part becomes easier. If you're still unsure about the god picking part tell me your wep and I can suggest something.

For the Shield I would avoid using the Special completely as its pretty weak, maybe to finish off some smaller enemies but do not use it on the boss fights because it makes you vulnerable. The bullrush and blocking mechanics should help you in the fight, they are quite nice. Focus on your attack, you can try to attack x2 then bull rush, it's a safe pattern. The base shield is versatile when it comes to gods so honestly you can put anything on your attack for now, you can try to pick something high rarity (like an Ares or big %) from the midboss if you dont get a good early pick. Just avoid poseidon on the attack. The hammer can also be pretty impactful, if you encounter one you can take Charged shot which removes your bullrush but replaces it with a shot which makes you do a ton more dmg for the price of some safety. This is likely the strongest hammer you can find, followed by Breaching Rush and Sudden Rush. On weapons like the base Shield you can try to get some other dmg sources to compensate for the weak Special, if you unlocked the Call slot try to look for Zeus/Dio/Poseidon/Athena, and for your cast Athena is a nice pick. You don't need to worry too much about the gods but that's basically it, you'll eventually get it with a few more runs and upgrades on the mirror. You can manipulate builds more efficiently to get what you want later.

I hope someone can help me with this; I can’t seem to use weapon aspects. Are the only conditions that you unlock all weapons and have titans blood? Because I meet those conditions but all aspects are locked for me, and I can’t seem to use my titans blood. I’m on the switch 1. Those are the only conditions I see mentioned so is my game just glitching?

The game won’t progress the courtyard unless you re-enter the house of Hades

You need to do another escape attempt

“Giving up” the run won’t count because that puts you back in the Courtyard chronologically (game-mechanic wise) before you entered the run

I’ve re-entered several times. I’ve reached the top and got out. I’ve done 30+ runs. I’ve unlocked all weapons a while ago. I have 6 titans blood. I can see the aspects, I just don’t understand why I can’t click on any of them. They’re all locked.

And 14 runs is not much

You could take 100 to finish your first run on hell mode. It's not as easy as it might look

Since you made it to Act 3 you can keep going but if you feel stuck normal mode could be worth a try

For the most part Chaos is good enough that you eventually want to take him everytime you see him, but the keepsake just removes the hp penalty and boosts rarity

it doesn’t force a chaos door to spawn though

so you could easily just have a useless keepsake

Hi just started playing today, I have been struggling to beat meg (the first boss) for about 2 hrs, am i just skill issued or is there actually a strat? Ive tried a lot of different things not sure what I could be doing better :/

yeah i think I have a rough estimate on that, its just she does this one move where she fires like a million pink things and i dont know what possible counter there is to that

unlock the other weapons after that since the sword is a pain to clear the game with as a beginner

If you're close when she does that, you'll get nailed a lot and fast. Back way off her and the pink fireballs form a spiral with 'arms' you can easily see - you can slowly strafe to stay between two of the 'arms.' Then run back in.
Another hint, spoilered in case you don't want it:
||Give a nectar to Cerberus, he will give you an item that you can equip that will give you a life boost||

Honestly, since it sounds like you have no objections to running up to things and whaling on them, get the fists and see how they work for you
Starting out I couldn't figure out what was what and needed the spear and shield so I could stay away, BUT if you're quick and bold the fists do a lot of close-up damage very fast, no lag like the sword

A good keepsake to pair with that approach would be, spoilered again if you don't want the hint, ||the Myrmidon Bracer, from Achilles. It reduces damage you take from the front.||

If you’re standing strike with bow you’re going to be significantly worse off for Heroes
