Might be a build issue. Starting tidal dash and looking for other sources of flat damage like Zeus, doom, and hangover is usually pretty reliable

+dashes from Hermes, Zeus or Dio call, and Artemis for crits help you scale into the rest of the game

Dashes give iframes and dash strikes do not. However, for most weapons, dash strike are the best way to get damage

Funny anecdote for you; When you've finally climbed the mountain and Gotten Gud, that hydra and his little heads will be pushovers.

Keep your focus narrow. Damage the big head first, but watch out for his attacks. Know when it is and isn't your turn to play the game. After the smaller heads spawn focus them down individually. Everyone is tethered to their respective corner of the map, so things shouldnt get too crowded. If things get too hot in one corner of the map, move to the another one and carry on with damage. Dodge and punish, you have all the time in the world to finish this fight

Gauntlets are quite good when paired with Zeus, you can't skip blessings or any doors for that matter, Artemis boons are some of the strongest in the game but they need to be placed in the right slots to be most effective

Fishing works like Russian Roulette, but the gun only has 4 cylinders. After you cast, there will be 4 opportunities for the fish to bite. Either it bites, or you get a little nibble and move on to the next round. If you get 3 false nibbles, the bite must fire on the 4th attempt. Make sense?

2nd phase can be considered “easier” in some ways because no ads are spawned, it’s just you and him in the room. This gives you time and space to fight at your own pace. Remember, this is the fight to finish the game. Play at a pace that ensures you survive first, win second.

The pots he summons are dangerous, try to break them from a safe distance if possible to give yourself breathing room.

His laser attack has a blind spot, right in the center of the attack. Run up and hug your father while he lets his anger out.

Be ready to break off your attack at any moment, but be patient in doing so. His spin is deliberately timed with a long animation to trip you up. Don’t panic dash, take a split second to watch him and only dodge when he actually swings.

Athena’s call is…. Ok btw. It’s not the worst but there are generally better. Zeus, for instance, is widely considered to be the best call in the game along with Dio

With Poseidon being a very strong 2nd once you get his other call-related boon

For a limited quantity of blood, Talos fists Hera bow and Poseidon sword are all “one-blood wonders” that give significant effect for just unlocking the aspect and their bonuses tend to be a cherry on top. Maybe consider unlocking one of those and trying them out for one blood?

Nyaanyaa's Fishing Guide
There can only be three fake bobs, so the fourth bob is always real if the first three were fake. Fake bobs have an interval of 2-5 seconds while the real bob has an interval of 1-2 seconds. So if it takes more than 2 seconds, it should be a fake bob. Meaning you should look for the real bob within a short time after you start fishing or within a short time after a previous bob.

Personally, I just look for the white flash above the bobber and ignore the bobber itself. Some players have said they have better success when putting their thumb on the bobber to not get distracted by that, so maybe you could give that a try.

A Perfect Catch means catching a fish within 340ms. Perfect Catches are 50/50 on being a legendary or rare fish. Any other catch is 50/50 on being a rare or common fish

For limited blood I’d put most into your zag rail for now, you’ll see the most immediate benefit from it. Zag rail, fists, bow, and shield are all either competent or strong for their investment. Zag fists are more of a passive benefit, I’d recommend filling them in a little later. An upgraded zag rail with Zeus on the attack will win runs for you

Same-ish story with base/zag fists. Zeus attack, Athena dash. Learn to dodge a little bit and it’s goooooood eating

I saw eventually some characters will give you something special for maxing that out so I’ve been giving Cerberus most of my nectar

It's a bit of opinion based in all honesty. For example if you're good at dodging and your build benefits from damage, taking 1 dash with damage over 2 dashes is optimal. However it is normally agreed that 2 dashes is usually better

Take the first mirror buff for example, you choose either backstab damage, or extra damage to foes that are full hp. The rail special can't backstab, and the extra damage on its 10 damage basic attack won't do much, so you might as well take the other option and deal extra damage with the special

However some other weapons like the sword or fists you might want to try to focus on backstabbing making the buff more optimal there

If you lose the tooth's dd and then buy back a death defiance from one of Charon's wells (or replace it with one of Athena's refills) then you can keep the death defiance even after unequipping the tooth (although it will not be visually present in the ui it will still trigger once you lose your healthbar).
Otherwise unequiping it will simply remove the benefit of the tooth.

You start with the possibility of seeing all eight of the non-Hermes Olympians at the start of your runs, but after you collect boons from four of them, you've filled up your "God pool" and are usually limited to seeing those four for the rest of your run, so technically you are more likely to encounter Olympians more frequently after taking their boons. Exceptions can happen via keepsakes

If you haven’t got nemesis zeus or hera yet, they’re all really effective with low amounts of titan blood put into them

and then you can use the rest on other aspects that need the levels a bit more (for their effects to really get crazy)

Like achilles, eris, hestia, demeter

By that point (or earlier) you should be able so start getting the hidden aspects, in which case ||guan-yu, rama and lucifer really want titans blood, beowulf is stellar at level 1||

and then like zag bow, zag fist, and zag rail are all solid options for your titans blood

(Maxing nem, zeus, and hera can happen really whenever in this whole grand scheme)

And then any aspects I haven’t mentioned
