At the very basics
Strong attack, slow use % boons like artemis or aphro
Fast but weak hits go for ME, zeus or dio
Casts are look at cast > see if you can get a duo for it > aim for it + your usual cast dmg and +1 cast
There's also a big guide recompilation pinned in #h1-builds-and-combat

Something seems to have changed in my game and I'm wondering if it's expected.
I used to be able to give nectar to a god after clearing a room, before picking up their boon reward. I could press one of the triggers before I opened the boon choice screen and it would gift nectar.
I have just seen a boon from Demeter for the first time, and wasn't able to give her nectar, which I thought might be expected. But also I'm now unable to give any gods nectar in this manner.
I've got 4 nectar available and haven't given more than 2 to any god.
In Charon's shop, I am shown the option to give nectar to charon with RT. But "RT Gift (-1
)" no longer shows up when I stand near any boon rewards.

If you used Artemis at the start of Tartarus and picked up her boon and kept it on into asphodel then it won't work

It can be chamber 4 or 5 in a biome before you get the "forced" god. Which makes Asphodel not the place to go for you main god, since you may only see them once there.
