all weapons and aspects will do pretty well for beginners, it depends on what weapon they like really
can always refer to the leveling guide in the pins as well

Depends on preference really. Some argue Spear, some hate Spear, some hate Spear unless it's like an ||Achilles|| aspect build.

Just test them all out and see what you like. If you want a more objective answer though, ||Beowulf|| will get you a win the easiest imo.

It's one of the main speedrunning aspects for a reason ||(final Shield form)||. It can block a lot of attacks including a lot of the final boss, and is probably the highest dps potential aspect as well.

You just need to be a bit comfortable with casts. But casts are much easier to use with this aspect anyway.

So that's a solid aspect to invest into.

If you just need a weapon now though, Zagreus shield is also very good when fully upgraded.

If you dont like shield, Bow is solid too because you dont need to be in melee range.

Also very good dps for the most part. Zagreus bow is also great when upgraded.

Nyaanyaa's Fishing Guide

There can only be three fake bobs, so the fourth bob is always real if the first three were fake. Fake bobs have an interval of 2-5 seconds while the real bob has an interval of 1-2 seconds. So if it takes more than 2 seconds, it should be a fake bob. Meaning you should look for the real bob within a short time after you start fishing or within a short time after a previous bob.

Personally, I just look for the white flash above the bobber and ignore the bobber itself. Some players have said they have better success when putting their thumb on the bobber to not get distracted by that, so maybe you could give that a try.

A Perfect Catch means catching a fish within 340ms. Perfect Catches are 50/50 on being a legendary or rare fish. Any other catch is 50/50 on being a rare or common fish.

I asked a friend for what keepsakes I should use and they said Cerberus and skelly what do they do? (Im going to get them tomorrow but want to know anyway)

Also I’m quite familiar with roguelite games so the gameplay loop is not confusing for me (I played a lot of dead cells and rogue legacy 1 and 2)

Cerberus' gives you extra max hp and Skelly's gives you a defiance that heals for 100 hp. They are good defensive keepsakes but you use them later in the run. Early on you're better off using Olympian god keepsakes to force boons that you need and get your build going since eventually, you'll get through the first two areas rather comfortably

i just escaped for the first time ever in almost 40 runs with one of my most random and doomed-to-fail builds using unwanted hammers and my only weapon that i have never spent any titan blood on (the shield). feels pretty good

i was planning on getting the hidden aspect for the sword first but now i am not so sure

i had ares blades on both my dashes (4 in total) and my casts (3 in total) and spamming them and also doom from my special (4 ricochet from hammer) seems to have carried me hard

well, when you first give a character nectar, you get their keepsake. as you keep giving it to them, you'll eventually reach a point where you complete favors or tasks. for who you should be giving it to, that depends on what perks you want. i recommend at least gifting one to every character and see which keepsakes you like and don't like!

the favors are tasks that you have to complete in order to unlock further gifting opportunites, which will then max out your friendship or possible romance. some characters give you something else, but otherwise once you finish gifting you get the bonds forged.

it's mainly a completion thing, I believe

Nyaanyaa's Fishing Guide

There can only be three fake bobs, so the fourth bob is always real if the first three were fake. Fake bobs have an interval of 2-5 seconds while the real bob has an interval of 1-2 seconds. So if it takes more than 2 seconds, it should be a fake bob. Meaning you should look for the real bob within a short time after you start fishing or within a short time after a previous bob.

Personally, I just look for the white flash above the bobber and ignore the bobber itself. Some players have said they have better success when putting their thumb on the bobber to not get distracted by that, so maybe you could give that a try.

A Perfect Catch means catching a fish within 340ms. Perfect Catches are 50/50 on being a legendary or rare fish. Any other catch is 50/50 on being a rare or common fish.

on bow it charges faster and does less damage
