There is no reason to invest in Zag sword once you upgrade Nem, Nem is just better in every way. As for Chiron it's pretty solid for clearing early on, but it's nowhere near the best bow aspect
Good to note that it's also level reliant so I wouldn't start levelling it unless you can go straight to lv4-5

Things you can do to make Duo boons show up more often after getting the needed prerequisites:
1: Have all of your 5 core slots filled up
2: Use upgrades that enhance chances of getting Duo boons, which includes their god keepsakes, Yarn of Ariadne, and the Favor boon from Chaos

There aren't definitive bests for all scenario. Casual clearing, speedrunning and ||high heat|| all change what weapons are better than others, so it's best to just play and learn or ask when it comes to specific stuff

If you're targeting specific Duo boons, it also helps to reduce the number of other Duo boons that you qualify for, both by reducing the number of duos you have the prerequisites for, and by grabbing duo boons you aren't looking for when you see them to remove them from the pool
Other than that, you can use Fated Persuation to reroll attempts at Duo boons (or attempts at their prerequisites)

I'd say which one is better depends on how reliably you're currently clearing at the moment. If you're currently clearing comfortably basically every run, get a FP or 2. By the time you get enough heat to start needing all 3 DDs, you'll probably have gotten enough darkness for both.
If you're still having some troubles, get the 3rd DD.

Olympian God keepsakes are usually the go-to, so you can start getting your build together, you wont need defensive keepsakes in the beginning because the biomes aren't tough yet

A couple barebones examples of some of the 'typical' builds for some weapons
Hera bow: Aphrodite for the cast, spoilered Olympian ||Demeter|| for several support boons
Hidden shield: Poseidon + Artemis, and their duo Mirage Shot
Zeus shield: Zeus on special + support boons, Aphrodite on attack for high % damage and their duo Smoldering Air
Eris rail: Zeus on attack, Artemis on special, whatever else after that
Most melee weapons: Ares doom boons and Athena deflect + their duo Merciful End
As you can see, most builds will at least want 2 specific gods, and often benefit from a couple others, so you should usually use 2 olympian keepsakes first to keep your builds more consistent with what you want

I think there is a build compendium somewhere, but I forgot where in the server or how to find it. You can probably just ask people what a good build for any weapon is and plenty of answers will come in though
And most weapons can run multiple builds and be fine
Eris usually prefers quick, flat damage like zeus and sometimes dionysus on attack, but you get so much damage from playing eris that basically everything turns into a murder button
Special? Artemis for massive crits or just boost it with high %. Dash? Can run anything, but tidal dash damage is insane and even crazier with eris
Nemesis mostly runs crit builds with something like heart rend, or merciful end with stacking Ares/Athena
These are for "meta" stuff though, and you can have tons of fun using non meta builds

You realize you still have a ton more runs in your future to power up all of your tools and complete the various story threads.
When you get to Elysium or Styx, things feel hard still. You have a couple of aspects that you like, but when you get a clear, it feels like luck most of the time. You’re trying out other aspects, and some feel unworkable.

This guide helps a lot with just understanding how weapons get stronger
Basically things with bigger base damage like % modifiers and things with faster small damage like flat modifiers such as how Zeus attack just does a set amount of lightning damage instead of increasing your attack damage
There's tons of nuance in between but if you think you feel weak then you're probably not using boons that synergize with your weapon.
Tartarus as an area expects one or two boons to make you kill everything fast as you explained. Asphodel is where the game expects your build to start taking shape and for increases in damage to be from synergies.
The third area basically expects your build to be done and you're just squeezing the final touches out of the build.

She spawns enemies in seemingly random places so that might be it. So you're trying to aim but then something spawns that you didn't see
Also it'll aim for other enemies while she's shielded so you may have to correct for that when she gets out of the bubble

So you can empty dash and be invincible during it or dash-strike and risk damage
If you're doing empty dashes and taking damage then you're mistiming it probably.

Olympian keepsakes help you smooth out rng and more reliably get a build you'd want to use, while Skelly and Eurydice have good defensive keepsakes
Charon's keepsake is more so meta for speedrunning, but even in a regular run you can get a ton of use out of well items so he's a top 2 offensive keepsake with ||the Sigil you can get from dad||

Might have been a build issue. Low level Chiron basically requires Drunken Flourish to have a decent build because the Special doesn't do enough base damage for the other builds until it shoots more arrows at higher levels.

When I've coached new players in their streams... when they asked me what aspect I recommended, there were some go-to aspects that I recommended to them but always based on what playstyle I could see they were already good at.
Everybody brings their own practice and experience into the game, so they can have very different approaches to the game.
Until they have a lot more practice and experience in Hades itself and have figured out what works well in the game.

Yeah, maybe. But the three other bows all play pretty different on a fundamental level, I would say. Zag Bow is all about finding the rhythm and being aggressive. Chiron is more about keeping a safe distance and gauging if you have the time to fire safe volleys. And Hera is mainly about do you know how to make a powerful Cast build for it.

hard one blood is limited especially early game you can get it in 3 ways
-beat first and final boss but only the first time with that weapon
-somtimes the vendor in canteen has it to trade for something else
-final area has a shop which offers blood for 1200 gold but can also offer diamond for 1000 instead
so before spending you need to ask yourself do you wanna play that weapon or would you rather use the blood to unlock another aspect

Unless you take over a hundred runs to escape your first time while diligently filling out all the substories, the vast, vast majority of the story is locked behind your first escape
Even then there's quite a bit of stuff thats physically locked behind escaping, some of which many times

You can get 6 from beating Furies with every weapon. The shop in the 4th biome has a 50% chance to offer 1 Titan Blood for 1,200 obols. You can trade in 1 Ambrosia for 1 Titan Blood at the Wretched Broker, and he'll sometimes offer 1 Titan Blood for 15 Chthonic Keys. Chthonic Keys are the resource you run out of any use for first, and long before anything else, so it's a good idea to look for that special deal and keep a minimum of 15 Chthonic Keys on hand for that—after you've unlocked all six weapons and the most important mirror talents, of course.
You'll unlock ways to get a lot more Titan Blood after your first clear.
If you're not sure what to spend it on, you can find my newbie aspect leveling guide in the pins here to give you an idea of the power scaling.

the boon dire misfortunate lets you "stack" doom, but it only adds like 15 damage or something to the doom

explosive shot, not really, delta chamber, yes
delta chamber is a loss in dps, but 1) it's only a loss if you know how to manage ammo, it's most of the time beneficial and 2) it's bugged so you get full iframes during your dash strikes
