Chiron is great for beginners because it's very easy to play and good builds for it are fairly intuitive.
Only issue is at low levels, the only decent build on it is Drunken Flourish to get 5 stacks asap because all of the other Specials will do pretty low damage until you get more arrows at higher levels.
Well, you can make up for the low level if you happen to find Relentless Volley for +4 arrows in your run, but that's just luck.

Also look for Static Discharge when you have Lightning Strike.
Then put 2-4 poms on Static Discharge and probably the rest on Tidal Dash.

Look for bonus Cast ammo and bonus Cast damage from Master Chaos.
Also make sure you check every Well of Charon for the items with the same effect (always in the third slot in shop).

Good one, although I think I'm keeping L1 as cast from now on. Just makes it much easier to use in general, and besides I don't use manual reload that ofthen, so R3 isn't too much of an issue

Well, Hestia especially relies on manual reloads for its mechanic. But for all of the other rails as well, you want to reload every time you use the Special since you can just press both at the same time or reload any time during your Special to skip the reload animation.
So you'd have a cycle of:
dash-strike x2 > keep holding attack to empty your clip > reload + Special > repeat
Although very often you'd lead with the Special and then go into Dash-Strikes.
If you actually empty your clip, Zagreus will reload automatically when you use the Special after that. But very often, you'll actually still have 1 or 2 shots left, and then if you don't manually reload, Zagreus won't reload during the Special... so if you start to Attack again after that it's just 1-2 shots and then click-click-click-click.
If you have Reload on R3 and Special on triangle, you can't press both at the same time with your thumb.

For the start, just practice and get used to the controls. For more survivability (until you get used to the controls and to each boss) you can use the shield, and prioritise Athena boons - especially her dash.

Hera is one of the most consistent weapon aspects for speedruns because you can one-shot basically anything (and if they don't die from your first Attack with Casts, the next attack will surely finish them off) with a strong Cast build, and you can get strong builds for it very consistently. Like @sweet brook said, if you have a good build for it, then the aspect level only matters in boss fights (and technically there's a trick to make your bloodstones drop out immediately even in boss fights, but that's very advanced). So for most of the run, it acts just as well as one of the best Lv.5 aspects (i.e., Hera Lv.5) even when it's still Lv.1.
The best build overall for it is Crush Shot start, by a decent margin. But Phalanx Shot, Trippy Flare, and Flood Shot are all very good as well.
Out of those, Trippy Flare stands out for using Stygian Soul (your bloodstones automatically regenerate) rather than Infernal Soul... which is not at all affected by Hera's level, so Lv.1 is literally as good as Lv.5 for that build. The one downside is that it relies a lot on finding extra Cast ammo from Master Chaos and Wells of Charon because otherwise you only have one and need to wait 3 secs to load the next one. The potential when you get a lot is very high, though, especially because Trippy Flare's pom scaling is incredibly (each pom actually adds twice the damage that it shows in-game because of a bug).
Mind you, if you don't have a strong build for it, then you won't one-shot mobs reliably, so your bloodstones won't drop out immediately from the kill, so the level will matter a lot in normal encounters... but that's just one of the things that I can't really communicate with a simple tier list like that that's just supposed to give new players an idea of what power they can expect from upgrading their aspects. So as you did, it's a good idea to ask questions when something doesn't make sense to you.

Somewhat. They all play differently, so you might want to unlock them just to try them out. Or you might find one that you enjoy and just spend your titan blood on leveling that one for the time being.
For the time being, don't worry too much about unlocking the "right" ones. You'll have enough Titan Blood to get them all eventually.

A lock means you need to have a certain conversation or do something before you can keep raising your relationship level with them
For Chaos, at some point they ask you to do something that they think would be funny (and it shows up in your fated list as a prophecy). Once you do that, you will eventually have a conversation with Chaos where they acknowledge that you did it, then the lock will unlock and you can give ambrosia

From experience I’d say a perfect catch has around 50% chance of being the legendary fish and 50% chance of being the rare fish
Normal catch seems to be 50% chance of rare fish and 50% chance of common fish

I had to do my last encounter there too, but ||you have to clean up the whole tunnel to count as an encounter without taking damage. I was super lucky and didn't get satyrs that do poison dmg and was running the bow so stayed the frick away from everything||

It's great, just needs to be high level.
Lv.1 hidden spear is very difficult to use, doesn't allow for a lot of mistakes.
It's one of the best aspects for doing a whole run without getting hit, though.
It's quite popular for getting the Pierced Butterfly achievement.

You misunderstood. ||Bosses only drop darkness if you've already cleared that heat level. So you should do "Heat that you've already cleared". But doing higher heat won't give more Darkness. For example, if you've already cleared up to 10 Heat, then 0–10 Heat bosses will drop the same amount of Darkness.||

It does not calculate the difference and display it, it just shows you the boon as it is, if it’s lower than what you already have then it’s just a weaker attack in terms of raw damage. Aphrodite’s Attack has a very high% for example, meanwhile Poseidon’s Attack % is abysmal

Yea I assumed so, Poseidon’s Attack is not recommended for any weapon lol, the % is low and the knockback is a pain to deal with, atleast the Special is a bit better because it sees some niche usage

Either way, you’re not gonna have ideal god pools or cores every run so knowing what works best and trying to make the most out of it is a good skill to have, Poseidon Special on Rail is pretty solid, especially if you have rarity and a pom or two, in this case you have Rupture which is added value, it’s a sustainable source of damage on bosses and mobile enemies

the issue with it is that it requires a lot of other things to actually deal damage
||glacial glare is a big one since it increases time and inflicts chill. without either of the duos it makes it a pain to actually use. on top of that, the damage is pretty low to begin with and requires % scaling from braids or chaos||

So 42 blood, 21 ambrosia, 21 diamonds per weapon. You’ll be able to level aspects pretty easily as long as you don’t try to max every single one early. Some are just not worth it
I believe each weapon takes 55 blood to max every aspect

I've done the math on this before lmao
if you trade away ambrosia for titan blood, you can get 3 TB per run, 2 diamonds = 1 ambrosia = 1 TB so every other run is 4 TB
if you just dont care about maxing bonds or contractor upgrades, it won't take too long to max all aspects
(5+15+16+15)*6 = 306 titan blood needed
102 runs without trading diamonds
87.4 runs so 88 if you trade diamonds
