It takes a while because it's a lot of darkness but a good couple of things to do are: Make sure you don't have bounties available for the farming runs you're doing because you want bosses to drop Darkness as opposed to Titan Blood Ambrosia and Diamonds, because bosses are your main source of Darkness, and try to pick up Chaos Eclipse boons if you happen to come across them and Poseidon's Ocean Bounty and Sunken Treasure, could be worth forcing in Asphodel for that reason

||That is some pretty awful advice, google isnt the most reliable place because you'll find random info spread around the place, the Special is nice and all but Special-only runs are for the memes mostly and if you play Rama properly your Attack is miles ahead of your Special in terms of importance and damage-wise||

||Start with a beefy % attack, Aphro is very good (ideally not common), or you can go for Artemis because crits, any high rarity % attack can do except Poseidon (avoid that one), for the Special you want flat damage, it's not hard to come by, usually not worth forcing tho, Ares Dio Zeus are the main ones, you can go for Demeter and try to get Killing freeze, it can work pretty well, for the Dash there arent many options because most of them are either anti-synergy or just dont do anything, Artemis however is probably the best in slot dash, because Rama relies on dash strikes and getting dash strike damage is just good, Athena is a good one too because deflecting is nice, another important thing for Rama is hammers, ideally you want Triple Shot or Twin Shot for your first hammer, if not offered you can go for Perfect or Point Blank, and for the second hammer you usually want Perfect or Point Blank (assuming Triple or Twin first) but the order can be the other way here, if you get Perfect Shot as first hammer then it's fine too, hammers to avoid are Sniper shot (blocks Twins shot) and also doesnt do anything, and Repulse shot, Explosive is a bit of an odd one, it's nice in some scenarios but hard to play, Chain shot is okay, wont do much in bosses. Rama is difficult and needs practice but it's really good when it comes to heat especially, it's a good idea to watch vods of people who are good at it and try to implement their movement and decision making in your runs||

Flourish Chaos boons also don't really help here at all, they only affect the actual damage not the effects like Doom/Lightning etc so they're useless on things with low base damage, like the 4th Bow's Special

For Elysium dudes you just have to practice clearing rooms efficiently, focus on 1/a few at a time and finish them off before moving on to other enemies, having a good general idea of what goes well with what weapon will also help you in terms of damage which is good for Elysium because it’s when enemies start to feel pretty beefy

Hey, I've completed the game around 7 times (one with each weapon, and completed the game twice with spear I think), I've had like 23 escape attempts and 16 hours in the game. The story and dialogue feels kinda weird sometimes, like ||achilles talked with me about beating hades today, and that was like the 7th time beating him|| Am I progressing too slow or something? I've pretty much interacted with the characters each time I returned.

Or do I just not understand the story well enough

Also focusing on filling your core slots (attack, special, dash, cast) will increase your odds as otherwise the game will always offer 1 till all of them are filled

And ofc avoid opening duos you dont want cuz you also cut your desired duo chances

common, rare, epic, and heroic boons modify a certain boon's strength

they all do the same thing but at different strengths

like a common aphrodite will do like +56% damage, rare will do +74% or whatever and so on

duo boons are a combination of 2 gods' power, they have certain boon requirements you need to have before you're offered them

you can look them up in your codex or use the wiki if you want

legendary boons also have various boon requirements and dont change in rarity

additionally, heroic boons are only offered as a replacement of a pre-existing boon you already have
for example, if you have athena atk and pick up an aphrodite boon, there's a chance you'll be offered to replace athena's atk with aphrodite's atk and it might be at a heroic rarity

Shield is good but you have to have pretty solid shield basics to actually avoid all damage while bullrushing and doing damage etc

I worded it a bit badly there, I meant it's good with Low Tolerance Chiron, but I see a lot of people just use it all the time because technically it's a bigger number than FF but it doesnt always synergize and sometimes you just end up hunting garbage status curses with inconvenient ways to apply them and it's not pleasant, it's simply stronger to settle for the consistent slightly smaller number on some weapons

Like an awful way to use pstatus is the classic Heartrend Chiron

If you want to look for Artemis' curse it would be Hunter's Mark which is so bad because it keeps disappearing when you crit so you dont have any effective pstatus uptime really. You can look for other curses, Weak is not bad it's pretty good but you need another, and that's when it becomes tricky, because you dont want just random stuff that doesnt help you and you also want to apply it easily and the only thing you have open is like your Dash or Cast, both not very nice, I think the general misconception for newer players is, they think if your build wants 1 curse then it's better to go for pstatus because getting another curse cant be that bad but it's pretty bad sometimes, you only want to use pstatus when your build revolves around 2 curses, 1 is not enough

the only way to get diamonds is by beating the hydra with each weapon or trading 10 nectar for it

nectar is also worth 5 keys in the broker as well

but keys and nectar are both just rng finds
