I heard that in order unlock Thanatos favor, I have to succeed and escape attempt without his help. I did it without encountering Thanatos in any of the chambers. When I meet him again, he just gave a centaur's heart and left 😦

I kept giving him nectar whenever i could get the dialog option prior to speaking with him. and he does stop by the house from time to time which might give you the oportunity

This is my second playthrough so I know the completion favor dialogue and it triggers when you encounter him in the escape attempts.

I'd like to know if there is a dialogue about his favor or something, I must have missed it after giving him 6 nectar.

Hey guys quick question, I'm on around run 80 and have most keepsakes leveled up and pretty much all of the achievements, but the darn Gilgamesh weapon won't drop from Asterious lol. Is there anything I'm missing? I have almost all of the hidden aspects lvled up with a lot of them to max and I have most of the Chthonic Companions. Dunno what I'm missing haha

I have a question. So in my game Zag and Meg are really close. One day, Meg asks Zag to come with her to Zag's bedroom. Then it cuts to black with some laughter and whip sound. However, I see that the board game in his bedroom doesn't look like it requires a whip to play. And why would the game cuts to black? Board games are fun, it's ok to see characters having fun playing board games. I think this might be a bug but I am not sure. Should I it?

Ares' favor requires completing the War-God's Bloodlust prophecy and slaying at minimum 10,000 enemies total. The affinity gauge will not immediately unlock upon completing the prophecy, but rather from a dialogue with Ares a few encounters later.

It doesn't take that long to get gems to trade for keys > nectars > diamond > ambrosia, even better if you have maxed out chests to get even more gems.

If Ambrosia was that rare I'd reconsider but to feel better about it I prefer to not take it back, it feels egoistic to just take back a gift that you was happy to offer in the first place.

unfortunately thats just how the dialogue works! you're not guaranteed to see any specific dialogue, since the game just checks that you've met the requirements and then enters that dialogue into a pool of available dialogue that can come up when you speak with that npc. main story/favour stuff should be weighted with higher priority but it doesnt always work out that way

yeah thats just a symptom of how the dialogue system is set up

the game doesnt necessarily react to the things you finish, so much as it checks you've met the requirements and that dialogue is added to potential dialogue that can come up when you speak with someone

IIRC you need to have finished the main plot and gotten enough hearts from Than. It requires you to observe certain convos between the two.

also it really depends on favor dialogues
