||Ares slowly growing on me. He's like, edgy on purpose but he's actually a huge lore nerd. I love how he says he reads the prophecies of the Fates regularly and wants to know about the Cthonic gods. Like, now when the other olympians take jabs at him for being creepy or awkward I'm like don't be mean to Ares, once you get past his rough edges he's a pretty sharp dude.||

I recall Ares mentioning that Nyx being night incarnate is cool because night has all kinds of tactical advantages for warfare and many victories are owed to her. Also Athena being like "I was born from all the wisdom escaping Zeus' head so I always wanted a mom as cool as Nyx". Paraphrasing of course.

Looks like it. It also says that for Exagryph you must have had Zeus already give the commentary of you having it equipped. Once that has been said you don't have to have it equipped for the convo where Zeus gives you the waking phrase.

Yeah, there's a sequence of dialogue.

#

You can literally grind out the entirety of the play attempts in one pass (it will progress through murdered chords to coherent notes to riffs if you just keep hitting the button), but the conversations with Orpheus have to be completed run-to-run.

It's possible other dialogue will muddy it up, just keep going and talking to Orpheus every time you pass through the House.

maybe i dont watch too many movies but i think the story and the narrative of this game is new and that is saying something considering there are lots of copy paste storylines on other media.

I said this because a protagonist finally reach his destination and then to die and repeat all over again just to find out about his mom backstory because the surface area kills him is kinda creative. kudos SGG

i was actually curious to see what'd happen if i beat story mode without getting Orpheus/Eurydice together, like maybe there'd be only Eurydice singing in the surface or something. :0 turns out it's like a "memory" of them singing together, and Orpheus later tells you he won't be singing it for a long while.
(((now i theorize the reason orpheus is gone at times is probably to sing secretly))

Well for Hades, ||he didn't know how to solve the Persephone situation, he was concerned about Demeter finding out (especially considering she sent the world into a semi-permanent Winter upon discovering that Persephone was missing), and chances are it was Zagreus' good relationship with Demeter that dampened her anger-not to mention Persephone disliked being in the Underworld, Hades weighed the consequences from what he knew and it just didn't seem worth it|| Patroclus ||straight up didn't know where Achilles was, and Achilles couldn't see any way of getting past his contract and didn't think it was appropriate to ask|| and for Orpheus ||in the mythos, it was his actions that caused Eurydice to become trapped in the Underworld, and he beat himself up for it (not to mention she was not happy at first about Zagreus mentioning him)||

If it weren't for Zagreus ||Persephone admits she wouldn't have come back||, and ||Patroclus would have never known what became of Achilles|| and ||Orpheus probably would never be released from Tartarus in the first place||

I think that phrasing can help me better explain my feeling. There are parts of the story focused on reunion and coming together that I might have preferred to have a focus on determination and becoming something new. ||Zagreus reunites with Persephone, but it's the process of getting to that reunion that actually improves his life. I wish a similar process could have occurred with Patroclus and Orpheus where, prior to getting what they want, they start to change and focus themselves on a change so that it doesn't feel like the key to happiness is getting what you desire. I really love Hypnos' story for this because it's about him refocusing on the things he really enjoys.||

i realized it makes sense that Tis would be the busiest one, she punishes just murders in general while the other two focus on more specific things like passions and infidelity
