like you can fight all the way up to Hades but we cannot find out yet what happens after you defeat him (if you do)

there are a lot of storylines in between with the other characters tho, i think all of the side stories can be completed now

Can't you use a Summon on a Boss fight? Fought against Hades and it didn't work. Also fought against Megaera and used her own Summon and it also didn't work

if you're not getting new lines, gift them if they still have available hearts

otherwise the requirements generally amounts to keep talking to people, because often times you need to see specific lines of dialogue to trigger quests

The game explains very early that the weapons take forms, even forms that technically shouldn't exist yet. The game even says that these weapons find their way to different users one way or another. So your "They need the weapons still" point doesn't really affect anything.
