@fathom current The most, and arguably only, notable child of Atlas was Calypso. She quite literally does nothing wrong, so the gods give her points for that, but because she's Atlas's daughter they still imprisoned her to live alone on an island. The island is a great place, in honesty, but she was also cursed to forever be alone.
The only exception to that was a bittersweet one- the island can only be found by men adrift at sea who, ultimately, have something more important to them that they will eventually leave her for. She's described as a good person and practically perfect. The men that wash up there usually even fall in love with her for a time. Ultimately, though, it's never enough to keep the heroes from eventually leaving to continue whatever quest they were on.
It does kind of mirror Eurydice, now that you mention it. A girl alone on an island, she is literally a Muse, so she's stereotypically perfect; enough to be a living personification of artistic inspiration. Her story also involves a famous Greek hero, love, and his eventual but unintended betrayal and heartbreak.

The confusing part is that the main reason why Perseus turnt him to stone in the first place is because Atlas didn't trust any hero after Heracles' (counter) trickery and turnt Perseus away.

For the sword, a Kusanagi aspect could be interesting. Not easy, for the SGG team to find a weapon and an aspect from another culture / mythos with relevant and different gameplay

Long I didn't play Dead Cells. I bought the new DLC just to support that French studio who did a game of very high quality. I had the game from Early Access anyway.
My only concern is actually the Metroidvania aspect should be rogue lite as well. The runes should be discovered during a run and lost afterward.

Dusa's great and all, but they really need to change how her story arc is portrayed if they're going to do the platonic end. Maybe don't have her bursting into hearts whenever Zag shows up (and ONLY when he shows up), and just have her be generally nervous. Like, why is it that the two characters we can bang act like jerks, but the one who literally has every part of their story saying that they have a crush suddenly end up going "No I only see you in a platonic light"
There's not even any progression to her story. Not even a "I had a crush on you, but it was just a crush"

Than's story is more of the "I don't know what to do with my feelings" story. Dusa literally bursts into romantic hearts whenever she sees Zag. If her story was her trying to place her feelings, her story would reflect that. Instead, we have Bioshock Infinite syndrome, where it seems like two entirely different stories were written for one character, and rather than decide on one, they kept half of each.
Does she mention her crush? From what I recall, she's just like "Zag nah I don't want to bang you sorry"

mfw people rag about how meg and than act towards zag for his deciding to escape but never factor hades, their literal employer into it. not only personally feeling betrayed, but of course they're going to be testy when their own boss is pissy over zag's actions and the consequences have a real possibility of coming down on them as well
everyone is too busy trying to explain how these characters react in terms of how normal humans would act when they are, yknow, not humans and inherently cannot respond to things in a way we would consider normal and healthy. it's pointed out multiple times in game, "we're not mortal, we don't adhere to mortal standards"
