@oblique sierra moving the conversation here from victory boasting - the idea is that you can fire off more shots total with Stygian. getting a chaos extra stone is high priority, and hermes auto reload is super good as well. the thing is that dio cast lingers and you dont get another charge until the existing fog expires

It can happen with Phalanx Shot and Hera because of where the Cast spawns when your Attack hits.
Generally doesn't happen with Crush Shot like that.
Phalanx Shot also goes boom in a circle on impact while Crush Shot goes boom immediately in a cone that faces forward.
So Phalanx Shot if it spawns behind an enemy can be close enough to be in contact and go boom and backstab the enemy.
While Crush Shot if it spawns behind an enemy will create a cone that faces away from the enemy and miss.

Zeus Aspect Special hits every 300ms. An enemy hit by Thunder Flourish has immunity from another Thunder Flourish hit for 200ms. Double Strike will hit within ~33ms and reset the immunity, but 233ms is still well below 300ms.

I can test again with just Thunder Flourish; but at 60 fps, Double Strike on Zeus' Aid hits 2 frames after the initial hit, and then the next Lightning Bolt from Zeus' Aid hits 12 frames after the Double Strike instead of 12 frames after the previus Zeus' Aid hit.
Which corresponds with what I said.
I'd also be wary of any codex mod tests. The results can differ from what you see in an actual run.

Early on Talos can be good since the pull aspect works with a few boons very well. At higher heat its effectiveness drops though. Talos increases chance of backstabs due to how it pulls foes in without turning them to face you. It's fine tbh, but definitely not as good as Demeter.
