always 1 skull room first is probably the best strategy and the second one is usualy a sack anyway so u can take ur chances with another if ur feelin lucky

and of course as someone else mentioned.. hunting blades is super op at lower heat levels .

You will still need to be careful in Styx to not stand in green and get to a cure pool if you get poisoned, the keepsake isn't a solve-all or anything.

Merciful End is a fun duo boon. If you get the Athena Attack and the Ares Special or vice versa, it's a good fit with the sword.

I have not tried it yet, I am not sure which way is preferred on that.

Spend 5 blood on the gun. Equip the gun and the Zeus keepsake. Talk to Zeus. He'll comment on the gun at some point. If you've already gotten that dialogue and you've spent the necessary blood, you'll at some point get another dialogue where he gives you the phrase

The Zeus keepsake is not strictly necessary

But it makes running into him easier

considering you attack non stop it ramps up super fast, couple that with zeuse chain for aoe and even more dmg on proc and ur pretty gg

super consistent too, you take zeus ring so u get the chain first room then on asphodel u take artemis and u have ur build already done as far as dmg goes, then try to get as much as zeus/posseidon as possible , also athena is cool for the dash and call so you can continue doing dmg without worrying too much about not dying
