so i got to Asterius and Theseus and i beat Asterius but died to theseus, had something like 200 heakth and 2 death defiances and still died
any tipe to beat the 2 of them

Your approach to take out Asterius first is correct. While you are doing so, keep your eye on Theseus and try and dodge or block his spear either by dashing at the right time or moving behind pillars.
I think generally taking out Asterius first is wise because when Theseus gets to half health he calls on the aid of Olympus and it is quite tricky to deal with Asterius on top of that.
Theseus is annoying with that stupid shield of his. Usually you want to bait an attack. After which, he does this extremely vulnerable re-positioning move where he turns around, walks back, and gets ready to attack again. Great time to wail on him.

Just speculation, but I imagine at some point they had to have a conversation about where the limit was. It's a pretty big pantheon.
I took over 100 attempts to escape the first time. I think that's a little on the high side but not so odd.

I've been reading some more Greek mythology inspired stuff and it does leave you with the "aw man, where is this one" feel.
Hephaestus is the one I most would have liked to see. But I imagine it would be tricky with how they wanted to represent Daedalus.
Daedalus is pretty cool so not surprising they wanted him in the game. I'm a little disappointed we never get to meet him!

It’s so tricky to use! Because the beam aims at you from wherever you drop it! And I got it just a little before the final fight with Big Papa Pluto so it was a challenge to get used to it that quickly

I’m just glad I got it so now I can focus on choosing boons that actually work well for me lol

Gave Extreme Measures a try on Hades. I kinda panicked on the first round with the spear throw, then the second round I sorta settled back into it, then Cerberus said hello. Third round "Oh, all that but its also dark." And he finally gets me.

It’s not one of those things that’s written in stone like, “We will never make DLC!” It’s just not yet made sense for us to do since the Bastion one-off, which was something we experimented with at the time. Today, that would have been a patch.
I think a big part of it is that we’re so committed to the endings of our games and to paying off the player’s time if they get all the way to the end. We’ve put in all of our best ideas in the thing we’ve shipped and we’ve set out with a goal of making a complete experience. So to make DLC on something that, by our own definition, is complete, something about that has felt off. It’s like you’re contriving stuff. If it was so important, why wasn’t it there in the 1.0 version? That’s a very broad statement about it.
In the particular case of Hades, it’s also a game with a lot of intricately connected parts in a story and everything. It may sound straightforward to dump in new Boons, gods, or weapons, but it would have a massive impact across all aspects of the game.
Due to the nature of the Early Access development, from our perspective, we did a whole bunch of updates. It’s just only Early Access players who experience a game that way. We even had unique content in Early Access that we never intended to ship in the 1.0 version that was self-aware about the nature of Early Access.
We did that for three years. And we gave it everything we had and thankfully it got this amazing response. We weren’t eager to then go and start messing with it. It doesn’t rule anything out by any means. We really appreciate that there’s interest and that players want more. But also that there is so much understanding in our community as well. Folks point out that it isn’t our style and they’ll give us a break.

It's a common strat, not very good tho, locks you out of other keepsakes so you cant force specific gods to get a build going, so you'll have to pick up whatever the game gives you, and it takes a lot of experience to make good builds sometimes so you're very often gonna end up with low damage/ not much synergy in your builds

four main attacks
first one is the pot summons, he'll stand still and summon the green stun pots. basically free hits, then detonate the pots yourself with a projectile so you don't get stunned by them
2nd is the skull/lunge combo - he'll hold the spear in ready stance, then fire off two skulls in opposite directions and lunge at you. just getting away is a good strat, but you can always dps and time your dashes if you're quick with it
third is the spin, he will trace a circle around and then rush right at zag. has good range, dishes out some good damage but easily dodged and telegraphed
fourth is the lasers, he will grab his spear and spin it around himself while stationary. for the first half of his hp, he only fires three lasers that you can dash past, but after he'll fire in every direction. your only chance is to hide behind a pillar. they do damage every few ticks so they can obliterate you if you don't move asap
