It can just feel easier if you are really bad at managing Theseus with his spear and shield. But Asterius gets so much harder. He’s faster, does way more damage, makes way more projectiles, and most of all makes that absurdly big shockwave that makes the fight an absolute nightmare for any melee weapon

That's the Chiron Aspect of the Bow, you have to buy all Base weapons using Keys then do a run to refresh the House seed to unlock weapon aspects, and you can invest into their different aspects by using Titan Blood

Max god mode + weak + sturdy = 4 damage from a Hades spin
With heroic broken resolve, Heroic bronze skin (lvl1 to keep it simple), and 10% bouldy damage reduction = 2 damage from a Hades spin
That means that you can take a full spin to the face and then heal the entire thing with a single attack with cursed slash
Btw this is part of the reason that people think cursed slash is so good

Some people read Hypnos as well-intended, but Zag is very visibly annoyed by most of the stuff he says, so that kind of translates to how many players read it.
I personally didn't feel one way or another until I started hearing people discuss it. I was mostly so disconnected from him that his Ambrosia was by far the last to be handed out because I guess I didn't talk to him much? I don't know.

Yeah, at this point the plot is already moving and both Zag and Than are starting to look at Hypnos under a different light, also after some discussing with Nyx about it.
I don't remember what cause of death it was about, just the laughs.
But by god, I just put down the controller and gave myself a belly ache dying of laughter on the couch.
I guess it works best on context because I recall it being due to a super frustrating death too.
So it's an excellent ice breaker.

That is the main problem. Most people die to the same few things over and over instead of once to every different thing, so moving the plot forward requires some purposeful dying.

Yeah, me too. I restarted on a new, hell mode save, and escaped on attempt 9. It's very clear the game goes upside down on the narrative because it was built around dozens of failed attempts, and there is stuff like you getting to the surface and quoting guidance from nyx that she never had the time to give you.

You'll feel an incredible increase in performance with fists simply by holding instead of tapping. Also to your tendons' health. =p Just remember to let go of the button when dashing if the point is to get the f away
