The criticism of Rocket Bomb always confused me but I think I figured it out. It feels like the reload takes forever because there’s no indictor of why it should take that long, even those it’s actually the exact same as a normal special. Since it comes out immediately, you don’t have to sit there and wait for it to land and therefore it feels slow to refresh, right?

But it also comes out the second you press the button which is literally the antithesis of slow. So it doesn’t actually make sense

It's as you put it - the reload does give me anxiety attacks sometimes when I'm assailed from all sides and it takes its sweet time. And while the rocket does travel fast, it does demand just that little bit of extra foresight to aim the rockets at the right place.

Triple/Hazard bomb is much more braindead.

For me, I like climbing heat (a difficulty system that you unlock when you beat the game), doing hitless runs (only have one clear so far but I’m working on it), and doing some speedrunning on occasion. But I’m the kind of person who likes to constantly challenge themself. It’s not for everyone. There are people on this server with many hundreds of hours who just choose to do casual fun runs and that’s totally okay
