I was using Lucifer's aspect of exagryph right
Got tempest strike right off the bat
Then got the critical chance thing from Artemis (got that up to 9% I think, Heroic too eventually) so I was doing pretty good damage
Then in asphodel I got more boons, like thunder flourish for the hellfire bomb (which sorta made it detonate on impact since the lightning sets it off too)

then the flourish and crit got upgraded to heroic by Eurydice

kept getting more stuff, double strike too so there was a decent amount of lightning

then I got hammer upgrades that made the hellfire bomb pretty OP, triple bomb (or whatever) and the thing that increases it's radius

We don't really know much about him because much of what we know is from fragments of works that are lost. So... maybe. Part of the reason they went with Zagreus, pretty sure, is that this gap in knowledge gave them a lot of freedom with the character.

So in a way it's an opportunity for the devs and the players to explore who Zagreus might be.
