Other things being equal, the free gold laurel reward is better value. You'll get to other shops where you can spend money anyway.
Depending on the build etc., shop can be a lot better, though.
Like if you're doing a Merciful End run and the other rewards aren't Lord Ares or Lady Athena, you'll want to enter the shop to get a shot at that.
But if you already have Merciful End, then a free pom could be better.

Hi all. I'll spoiler my question. But it's about fishing and post Hades fights.
||On my previous save, I had a bunch of clears, where it would eventually bring Persephone back to Hades. But after that I kept dying when I'd go to Greece to "tend to Persephone's garden". The thing is, I want to collect the fish there, but I can no longer even "visit" the area. Does Greece reopen for me to go fish there? Fishing spots have a low % of appearing (and other factors). I don't need story spoilers, just a yes or no. Thank you 😃 ||

ruthless relies heavily on greatest reflex from hermes unless youre using gilga or a shield
relying on greatest reflex also means you cant get something like rush delivery without a styx hermes

Chiron is pretty good as long as it's at a high level, if it's just level 1 or 2 you would be better off using hera with a casting build to rack up titan blood

Depends on the difference in speed. But if it's several minutes on average, then the faster aspect is for sure more efficient.
When factoring in other Darkness/Gemstone bonuses that you can get in a run, Dark Thirst isn't that much anyway.

Divine Strike is still decent. It's not as much DPS as others, but the Deflect is nice.

You've been at this long enough that I think only you can answer that. For me Arthur and Beowulf are the two most interesting hidden aspects to power up, but it very much depends on your personal play style. Since you have Chiron half done, maybe max that out (assuming you enjoy playing it).

Nothing is much of an issue at low heat. Try 40+ Heat on sword with and without DC2, and you'll see the problem with it.
There's plenty of 2 Heat in the pact that's easier than DC2.
You don't really notice those things until you're really stressing the pact, pretty much.
Kinda like you don't really notice issues with certain aspects too much until you try to speedrun them or get into very high heat because those issues don't end up hurting you in a way that matters a lot.
Just due to the fact you get away with a lot more.
One way too think of it is Acorn is the best tank keepsake for boss fights. And DC2 gives every single enemy 2 Acorn charges.
