ah thats fair. it tends to happen on pc as well, crashing will negate the autosave and put you back at the start of the run, but your auto save is still in the game's files and you just have to do some renaming. but obviously you cant just go and do that on a console :/a

How do you know if a chamber has a fishing area?

When you enter the chamber, if it has water/magma/etc there will be a shiny spot to interact with in the water.
It will appear upon entry, but you won't be able to fish until you kill everything.
After killing everything, you'll hear a "ding" sound, that sound will also play if there's a fishing spot at a Charon Store as well as ||Eurydice and Patroclus|| chambers.
The place must have water/magma/etc to have a fishing spot (obviously), but they aren't a common occurrence unless you have Poseidon's Huge Catch boon.

You can find spots in Tartarus, Asphodel, Elysium, Styx, Chaos, and ||Greece||

I am yet to have one appear in Chaos though.
