The amount of darkness that you get via rooms is so small compared to darkness from Bosses, Troves, Bouldy, Shops and Summon Bouldy that I don't feel like switching off Dark Foresight is worth it. (I would rather focus on getting either more Chaos & Poseidon Boons to multiply the Darkness or getting more boons that help me clear a run faster so that my farming rate is faster).

If it’s at level 1 (unupgraded) you can use it once per run

It costs 10 ambrosia yo max out a companion, for a total of 5 uses. But... some companions cannot be used against hades

Shady and Rib can always be used against hades, but if you want to use any other one, you need to get hades maxed out, and have one that cant be used against hades and shady or rib and hades will permit you to use all of them afterwards

Charon fight is a feel thing - only take it if you’re confident you won’t lose a bunch of defiances. In general, not advisable to take em in Tartarus unless you got the best start ever

Advice for Fresh File? I’m trying to make a file where I win every escape attempt. Past the first one, I’ll just give up if I’m about to die. But the first run is the real killer. I’ve been making attempts for at least 3 hours and I’ve made it to champions twice. I never managed to get ME (not for a lack of trying), although I did manage to get Divine Protection once (died because my damage was really really weak). I know it’s unlikely that someone here has ever done a fresh file run but if someone has, I’d love advice if you have any

After dying to champions 7 times over the course of my many hours of fresh file runs today, I have reached the conclusion that I do not know how to avoid Theseus spin attack with only one dash

Like the spin literally hit me almost every time, it actually feels incredibly hard to avoid

If you notice the tunes you’re playing are getting much varied time after time, you’re doing it right

This is one of the prophecies that you can’t just rush to complete

For Gilgamesh you have to talk to the Asterius solo miniboss whist using Malphon with 5 blood invested.
