The builds are very similar except on Beowulf you prioritize Mirage Shot, especially because it's bugged, but on Hera you prioritize Snow Burst.
You'll want to undershoot your Dash-Strikes a lot on Hera because your Casts will one-shot enemies anyway, so you just want to deliver your Casts to the target asap, pretty much.
And try to get a feel for how many Casts you need to load in order to kill different enemy types.
Lord Hermes boon priority is Quick Reload > rare+ Greatest Reflex > Hyper Sprint > common Greatest Reflex.
Well, you don't have to play that way, of course, but that's how you optimize your DPS on Hera.

It's an action game. Something like a 340ms reaction would be considered very easy in fighting games. There are attacks in the game that are much harder to react to in time.
I don't know what kind of display lag or input lag you're getting or if maybe your natural reactions are slow or you just lack practice or whatever, but increasing the time window for a perfect catch even further than it already is would make it way too easy for most players to get a perfect catch.
I asked them during Early Access to add at least a low chance of getting legendary fish for normal catches to give players who have trouble with getting a perfect catch a better chance at getting those, but they didn't.

If the first three bobs are fake, the fourth one is always real. So you can just press immediately for that one. That should cut down response time quite a bit because you don't need to tell fake from real.
If you play on a TV, see if your TV has something like a gaming mode. That turns off a lot of the post-processing that TVs do that add a lot of display lag. But decent TVs with actually low display lag when you turn on a gaming mode or something similar are actually hard to come by. A high refresh rate monitor will just always have better display lag.
If you're getting low FPS, that will also add more input lag than if your FPS are high.
Turning off V-Sync can also reduce input lag.

I made a point as far as reactions in the game go, that it's a pretty easy one in comparison. But you can get through the game just being carried by a strong build or learning enemy behavior up to certain heats.
@night leaf if you don't want to wait/hope for a change to that, a link to the Hades Modding server is pinned in #self-promotion. They can probably very easily make you a mod that increases the perfect catch window. That is, if you're on PC.

it wasn't me personally, I'm just editing the wiki page. And we found the reason in the modding server, the game doesn't actually save the fact that you got the Chaos legendary, only the DD itself, so it will never successfully detect the requirement

Speedrunners will just reset if they don't get it first hammer in Tartarus.
That's why they all have Flurry Jab on their victory screens.
You also can't get it on Hades Aspect and Guan Yu.
