Idk I feel like there’s so much potential to build upon this game. New bosses, new aspects and weapons, new npcs and favors and keepsakes, I really want a cerberus companion. They really cracked the code with hades and made one of the most fun games ever and I really feel like there’s infinite potential to build on it. I think leaving it here is just a real missed opportunity but that’s just my opinion

Trippy Shot is good for ME builds because it fills a priority slot without opening a Duo Boon, so it only improves your odds of getting ME.
And the base damage is great.
Boiling Blood is also virtually irrelevant for ME.

The main issue i have with roguelikes is that if they dont put in hard bossfights, they either have to have insanely OP permanent upgrades or youre going to clear everything in the first try
And if they do put in hard bossfights, they never let you practice them outside of reaching them again which gets INCREDIBLY annoying when you have to go thru 30+ min of grind just to die in 30 seconds again

If youre doing a lot of melee attacks and especially if you have certain boons active, it can be insanely hard to tell whats actually going on near you
Because theres just so many random attack animations in the way

You might be able to keep a good eye on the Knight because you'd constantly be eating damage so it would keep highlighting the Knight.

Enemies are always in front because they deal contact damage
Projectiles go behind enemies which is a bit weird at first but helps declutter the screen and helps you keep track of everything, and since all of them deal contact damage anyway it doesnt really matter
Attack animations of only the knight go above those
Everything else is behind those
So you basically always have a very clear view of where enemies are and where you are
So even if theres a ton of stuff on screen it guarantees the kinght and any enemies are always fully visible

It slipped by during Early Access because most of us didn't even have all aspects unlocked yet, and so probably by the time they realized after 1.0 release, it was already too late. They tried nerfing it down to 60% and 4s duration in the test branch, but half the testers were super happy about it and half were angry... so they changed it back to 75% but kept the 4s duration nerf (it was 8s previously, if I remember right).
