the roaming spirits seem crazy but you can reliably dodging them
also find ranged weapons, especially Hestia, make charon (and most bosses tbh) easier to fight

I recently got the Harsh Conditions achievement after many runs, but looking back, I remember repeatedly leaving the PoP menu and running back to the scrolls to check which conditions I had remaining. I was wondering if the devs would consider maybe doing something similar to what would happen when you came across a boon that would fulfill a prophecy and put the scoll symbols alongside the needed conditions within the PoP menu itself.

I misunderstood how it works but Pierced Butterfly is still amazing if you use it well. Evergreen Acorn is great for tough boss battles I normally swap it in on the last two bosses. Pom Blossom is pretty great too but like Pierced butterfly you have to keep it all game. If you use something like Acron on boss battles using the coin purse isn't bad early
