Ease depends on various factor. At low Heat, there's no difference for me because m not gonna lose anyway, and at high heat, EM3 is a lot harder than the normal fight.
EM3 is also a lot harder to deal with for melee than it is for shield or ranged weapons.

Hades is my first SG game, tbh. I started Bastion, their first game I believe? I think you'll like it, but you might be underwhelmed. Supergiant has a distinct style, and you can feel it all the way back in Bastion, but you can tell how much they've learned and become capable of since then

I played The Last of Us when it came out, and went back and played the first three Uncharted games immediately after, and it was very easy to look past the clunkiness of their older games to see how they learned to make them better over time.
