its not necessarily that the chances are higher, more that he will only show up if you've taken damage previously. I don't think there's anything that boosts his chance of appearing

In my experience Than chambers tend to be slightly more difficulty, so I can only seeing that be a high heat strat if you're struggling with the timer and you've successfully avoided damage until Elysium.
