I think that Heightened Security isn’t so bad in Hades because the traps are an integral part of the game’s stage design, but Astral Chain has a similar feature on its hardest difficulty where everything, including stage hazards, deals 400% more damage, so campfires and hazardous pools that normally are just annoying are OHKOs. It’s ridiculous.

I also like having Divine Strike on the Shield of Chaos so that its Bull Rush or Charged Shot deflects, letting me guard and then parry as I release.

I don’t like it as much on everything else, though.

I generally keep my offensive and defensive stuff separate.

I haven’t tried Phalanx Shot or whatever Athena’s cast is called, though—it seems like it could be neat.

I prefer the weak status effect to the charmed one thus far, though. Charmed is neat conceptually, but I haven’t found anything particularly useful about it so far, bosses seem immune to it, and a Greater Call will just instantly destroy most enemies before the charm can kick in.
