Instead of one guaranteed and one anywhere between 1% and 30%
And the player has clear choice between nullifying attrition or making the boss easier.

I am working on getting the following Boons: Rip Current (Poseidon), Blown Kiss (Aphrodite), and High Tolerance (Dionysus). I've done so many runs and I'm not getting these. Are these one specifically very rare for them coming up?

If you like sword, i would recommend trying out shield with zag aspect first to get used to it, then either chaos or zeus. I never really picked a favorite of the two.
Shield feels quite similar to the sword imo. Not the same obviously, since no weapon is, but similar enough that you should pick up on it quickly

Plan your build ahead of time - know what you need and how to get it
Take every free room that is offered, even if it means skipping something you might otherwise want (there are times when you may skip a free room, but that's a judgement call you'll have to make with experience). Free rooms are NPC rooms, shops, and Chaos gates. Even if you don't need to buy anything, take the shop
Either act decisively (without hesitation) when choosing exits, or pause the game while you think
Always start with the miniboss tunnels in Styx
Watch other speedrunners for inspiration, and the speedrunning community has lots of guides and resources

If your stream is unmonetized, you do not need to get permission per the last section of the policy, is my understanding. If you make money (affiliated/partnered) on the streams, then they ask that you get permission, yes
If you're unsure, then I recommend sending an email just to be safe
