i've been trying to switch from m+kb to controller
so that i can actually use the bow and the rail
and it's slowly becoming natural
except for one thing that's very easy with kbm but seems impossible with controller
how on earth do I dash backwards while attacking forwards?
or dash in the opposite direction of an attack in any case
with kbm it's easy because you can move in x direction while facing y direction very easily, 'facing' is mouse while 'moving' is wasd so they're totally separate
but with controller it just seems like... there's literally no way to possibly do this
or especially like, when i'm trying to maximize damage per second during a boss's stagger, with kbm my normal strat is to position myself just south of the boss and dash left and right while repeatedly attacking north, but with controller it seems like you can only dash in the same direction that you're attacking unless you're ABSURDLY fast with your thumbs
surely there's an easier way right? maybe some controller remapping? has anyone dealt with this specific issue before?

Then upgrade weak to like 7.25 secs and boom you're getting like 300 dps if you upgrade the drunk damage. Having weak and getting the rocket upgrade also helps. And the mirror effect that makes 2 status effects deal extra damage pairs well.||
