@slow snow I think I read somewhere that every run is seeded, so, for example, if you enter the first room and see a god boon with attack, special, dash, then give up, change weapon and start, you will see the same god with same boons. If you change keepsake to another god, then you will see the new god but still with attack,special, dash
The seed changes if you die normally or if you beat hydra.

A seed is sort of an initial input into a random number generator. Performing actions will activate the RNG. Meaning if you can reach a certain point with the same number of actions, it will yield the same results.
As can be witnessed with the very first action in the first chamber.
Everything that comes after that is influenced by battle inputs, meaning later boon selections will be subject to change from attempt to attempt.

there's no way that a Perfect Catch grants only 5% chance at Legendary. If that's the case, my game is super bugged.
I get Perfect Catch most of the time. Hard to keep track of lower biomes, but in Styx I get Stonewhal at least 50% of the time.

It's really up to you? Some aspects really don't care about extra levels.

Probably better to try to unlock rather than max out a certain weapon since if you want access to the ||fourth weapon aspects||||e.g. Lucifer or Rama|| you need to unlock a select few weapon aspects (||any 5 weapon aspects + GY also 5 heat in any weapon||) to simply to be able to gain access to it.

My bad, any 5 weapon aspects need to be unlocked to get ||guanyu|| not all spear aspects. Still point stands that you need a couple of weapon aspects unlocked to unlock the fourth ones so there is greater incentive to gun for unlocking more aspects.

it has very high spawn rate in general so overall I would personally take chaos gates since they arent as common as hammers. Tartarus and Elysium by default will be the two biomes u can get hammers. If things dont go as intended you can find them in the other biomes.

I tried out the Athena attack on it specifically bc I know the base version without Athena cannot destroy enemy projectiles, I thought that perhaps with Athena it would, but it doesn't seem to do anything at all. The description does say that "attack can deflect" but it doesn't?

Many games do large updates that are intentionally filled with redundant code: i.e. stuff that's already in the game. There's a few very good reasons for it. For example you don't want the update to go wrong somehow and end up corrupting the pre-patch compiled files that are the game, so instead it downloads an entirely new copy of area of code that changes, then when the download is done it just says to the game: "Okay, just look here for this code now instead" then deletes the old copy.
The blood price update had a lot of changes in it that made the game more compatible for multiplatform releases, so that could be another reason: You can't just "move" code (its more complicated than that and there are methods that simplify or make this easier) but resizing or refactoring certain things means that existing code needs to be copied somewhere else to "move" it.

Yes and no. There is a limiter on Thunder Flourish (0.2 seconds bolt cooldown per target). If all shields hit the same target at the same time, you will get one bolt. If the shields hit different targets, or one target over a broader timeframe, all will proc.

As for the Eurydice question: That all depends whether you have your core boons yet (the bread and butter for damage dealing, like attack or special).

The goal is to increase the chances to improve the core boons.

Eurydice picks are really reliant on what is already in possession. A few core boons will benefit the most from ambrosia, a bit more boons likely would benefit from poms more, and if there are too many to hit what you want, or alternatively nothing to upgrade, then nectar for better long-term benefit

Was anyone confused by the Thanatos relationship? Early on it seemed like a brotherly relationship, especially since they both thought they were Nyx's sons. I thought it was interesting having Thanatos be upset his "brother" (who he seemed to get along with better than any of his actual brothers) was leaving, but then deciding to still help him. The romantic side seems to come out of nowhere once you start giving him Ambrosia. I decided to not pursue it when given the option so maybe the other option ties it together better.

i think there was something said on that front but i dont recall where so i cant look for it

depends on what they are. while a lot of us are going to start fresh 1.0 files anyway, im sure there will be players who wouldnt appreciate having to put it another 60+ hours for later game prophecy-related achievements they already finished or something

archie to answer your thinking emote, just because you or someone else personally would not like to unlock the bulk of achievements all at once doesnt mean that sentiment is shared. so the biggest obstacle for the devs perhaps will be balancing the types of achievements between people who want to hunt everything themselves post release, and people who dont want to replay content because most achievements were not retroactive

All those runs though. I did catch a Haelian youtube vid though. Mans had 250K Darkness. I haven't played that much in the grand scheme of things 😂

Something to consider for people who have been playing it since early in Early Access is that some (or a lot) of the story interactions are coming in weird bursts at times, and some of it out-of-order entirely.

giving them lots of gifts and completing their storyline

Extreme Measures 1 is usually considered pretty easy, since it won't hurt you most of the run.
