Well, I started playing today as well. What I found was taking my time to know how the 3 ways of attacking interacted at base with the dash.
Took me some time but now I aware of having all three of attack methods.

I'm currently trying to force Demeter's legendary to beat the final boss with (as I've heard that ||beating Hades with Demeter's Legendary gives a new animation and a bit of lore I wanna experience without looking it up||). Does anyone have a recommendation in terms of the 'reroll' mirror talent? Go with the one that changes rooms and roll for her, or go for the one which rolls your boon options?

I found it far more useful to save up Fated Authorities (rerolling a room) until Styx if hunting for a certain God. Normally, the satyr tunnels almost always have the fixed distribution centaur heart + obol + pom + 2 different gods, and changing that around vastly increases the chances of getting a god you want.

Awesome, shall try rerolling in Styx then! So in theory, say two rooms are differnet gods (Ares, Athena), I can in theory reroll the Ares, get lucky, get Demeter, then reroll Athena afterwards and get Demeter the second time?
Or does it need to be Demeter and Athena say, and then can only reroll Athena to Demeter in that instance (of Demeter being a previous option)

Not only that, you can also reroll the obol, heart and pom rooms into god boon rooms.
Be aware that boon rooms can also be rerolled onto obols, hearts and poms because they all belong in the same reward pool.
In general, keep an eye on the color of the laurels surrounding the chamber rewards. Blue means permanent currency (darkness, gems, key, nectar), gold means temporary improvement (heart, pom, obol, hammer, boon, Hermes). Fated Authority will pick one from the pool it already was from, and avoid duplicates.
That means for example that if you have a choice between darkness, gems and key lined up, using a FA will guarantee a nectar.

Also anecdotally noticed that if I am offered a boon in a normal room then rerolling once always gets me the same reward. here's some feedback about L--- + athena attack:
||Athena's deflect on attack boon feels very strange/kind of bad with legendary rail aspect - it's like an impenetrable wall for ranged attacks and seemingly useless against melee. At least, exalted spearmen enemies though maybe its an issue with their spear hitbox specifically? I just died to one trying to deflect attacks several times. The first few times I got hit I chalked up to bad positioning but the one that killed me I was aiming directly at it (i.e. shooting it) and still got hit through. This definitely seems tricky to balance, especially with the no reload hammer||

@uneven lintel The 265 mb should be Patch 045, which contains a bunch of fixes for the new content added in Patch 044 (the Blood Price update).
SGG has also been releasing periodic stealth patches as hotfixes to particularly serious or easily fixed bugs.

Ever since the new update, Hestia Aspect has been really clunky for me. Do anybody feel the same?

Seems fine for the moment.
I played a bunch of it last patch and imo, the playstyle for Hestia seems clunky in general (not that it's a bad thing) since you have to shoot once then manually reload. And if you aren't moving while reloading you are stuck until the animation is over or you dash.

Artemis is my favorite too, though i'm biased for certain personal reasons. And her art is adorable, I love every detail.

I've been playing Hestia rail for a while now but does Hestia seem way stronger than any of the other weapons and aspects to you all? Yes it essentially has a slow attack speed because you have to reload, but compared to other builds I play, Hestia seems way stronger.

I've never ended up trying to go for oneshotting undamaged enemy builds
It never seemed to work for me

and I shredded ||Charon|| with hestia, while the legendary aspect bow Ares special build which is really good was giving me a lot of trouble

Yea I like those builds as well. Prior to Hestia, I did a lot of Eris builds with Zeus and Dio. Now I've been doing some heat runs with Legendary Bow special builds.

Also what do you think about Dio attack builds on anything except Eris rail. The dmg bonus is perfect for it, while a Legendary Bow dio special build would apply the poison probably faster, but there'd be substantially less damage.

Well if you're trying things out, the safest and probably easiest pick would be shield. Then IMO an Ares/Athena build.
Ares on attack, Athena on dash, then the ||Duo Boon|| will basically wreck stuff
