I think if you can transition from poseidon into a better boss killing set up, he's good and would let you maybe hoard gold or something, but there isn't really huge benefit for completely destroying normal rooms; you always have to be thinking about the boss

I had the modification that gave buest damage upon catching the shield which helped a lot.
I dunno, when I block this bull rush keeps charging and when I stop blocking I might just find myself in lava.
But this is the first time I play this kind of game, so that's probably why I'm a bit slow with things.

Hi everyone, I was reading some good ol' mythology the other day to keep up with the game's lore or at least have some meaningful understanding of it and I came up with a bit of "an issue?" out of all the sources I found only one posed Zagreus as Hade's son, the rest said Zagreus was the name dyonisus had before getting eaten by that one titan.This made me question wether the devs just went with the father-son part or maybe modified the stories a bit. Either way, I don't know if there's any kind of reference to all of this between Zag and Dyonisus ingame, but I'd love it if there was.

I really like it with any stacking boons because of its rapid hit, and it allows for a lot of continuous damage if I need to block things (really nice on forced overtime rn). That, plus I REALLY like being able to take down two groups of enemies at once if I place it preemptively.
Probably mainly just personal preference, though, I'm a sucker for controlling room space in any games.

This is just my word, but I think it's best to avoid some sort of ''ace of all spades'' kinda build, I mostly pick boons that increase the DPS of the attack I find most fun to use
(Which is almost always a dash spam dash strike build)
Though that is just my style, if yours is completely different that's perfectly fine
